Haunted Waters: The Enigma of the Isle of Demons

Amid the windswept waters of the Strait of Belle Isle, where fog clings like a ghostly veil and waves crash against unseen perils, lies a tale that refuses to be forgotten. The Isle of Demons, a name whispered with equal parts dread and fascination, appeared on 16th-century maps as a phantom island hovering on the cusp of history and myth. Its story, rich with marooned aristocrats, supernatural horrors, and unanswered questions, has lured dreamers and adventurers alike, daring them to unravel its eerie enigma.

But was it real? Or is it merely a cautionary tale born of imagination and fear? Let us journey into the heart of this chilling legend to uncover the truth behind the Isle of Demons and its place in the broader history of phantom islands.

demons

Origins of a Phantom: Charting the Isle

The Isle of Demons first appeared on Johannes Ruysch’s 1508 world map, nestled between Newfoundland and Greenland. Alongside it was an ominous inscription: “Demons assaulted ships near these islands, which were avoided, but not without peril.” This chilling note foreshadowed the island’s sinister reputation.

By 1556, Giacomo Gastaldi, an Italian cartographer with a flair for the dramatic, etched the Isle of Demons onto his map of New France with unsettling precision. Unlike its shadowy debut on earlier maps, Gastaldi’s version brimmed with macabre imagination, an island more imposing than Newfoundland, swarming with fantastical creatures: bat-winged demons poised to strike and monstrous gryphons that seemed to defy both reason and reality. Its location, the Strait of Belle Isle, a treacherous corridor known for its bone-chilling winds and labyrinth of jagged rocks, only magnified its ominous allure. Was it a cartographic exaggeration or a reflection of sailors’ whispered fears?

Phantom islands were a frequent feature of early maps, and their inclusion often reflected the uncertainty of the Age of Exploration. The Age of Exploration wasn’t just about discovery; it was about filling the blank spaces of the world with possibilities, some credible, others bordering on absurdity. Phantom islands like the Isle of Demons emerged as placeholders for the unknown, equal parts superstition and cartographic necessity. Their names alone conjured unease: Hy-Brasil, a fabled utopia shrouded in mist, said to reveal itself briefly every seven years; Sandy Island, a phantom that persisted on nautical charts until satellites betrayed its nonexistence in the 21st century. Such islands were more than cartographic curiosities, they were reflections of humanity’s eternal grappling with the unknown.

A Noblewoman’s Nightmare: The Tale of Marguerite de La Rocque

demons

No story embodies the eerie allure of the Isle of Demons more than that of Marguerite de La Rocque. A French noblewoman, Marguerite’s life of privilege darkened in 1542 during a voyage to New France. Her cousin, Jean-François de La Rocque de Roberval, Lieutenant-General of the colony, marooned her on the island, reportedly for an illicit affair with a young man aboard their ship.

Marguerite was left with her lover, a maidservant, and minimal supplies: a gun, some gunpowder, knives, and a Bible. According to André Thevet, a French cosmographer who chronicled her ordeal, the island was plagued by demonic forces. “It was as if a great tempest buffeted them,” Thevet wrote, “and they heard voices making a great din, but no form to their speech.”

Her companions succumbed to the island’s hardships; the maid and her lover died, followed by the infant Marguerite gave birth to while marooned. Left alone, she hunted game with the single firearm, even killing and skinning a bear for warmth. For two years, Marguerite survived, her endurance a testament to human resilience amidst an unforgiving landscape. She was finally rescued by fishermen in 1544 and returned to France, where she became a schoolmistress, her tale immortalized in history.

Marguerite de La Rocque’s story breathes life into the legend of the Isle of Demons, grounding its ghostly myths in harrowing human reality. Betrayed and abandoned, she faced a landscape as hostile as her fate: her strength tested by death, isolation, and the relentless bite of the wild. Yet, her survival is as haunting as the island itself, a testament to the sheer tenacity of the human spirit, even in the shadow of unimaginable hardship. Her story forces us to confront the fragility of our own resilience when set against the dual spectres of nature and betrayal.

Phantom Islands: More Than Just Myths

The Isle of Demons was far from the only phantom island haunting the maps of Renaissance Europe. These “geographical ghosts” were born from misinformation, superstition, and the limitations of navigation technology.  Many cartographers of the time lacked reliable instruments to verify locations, so they often relied on hearsay or embellished accounts from sailors.

As mentioned earlier, one of the most famous phantom islands, Hy-Brasil was a recurring feature on maps for over 500 years.  Believed to be a utopian paradise, it was said to emerge from the sea only once every seven years. Similarly, Sandy Island was first “discovered” in the 19th century and remained on official charts until modern satellite imagery revealed its nonexistence.

Cartographers were not always complicit in these errors; many repeated the mistakes of their predecessors. However, some were not above fabricating discoveries to gain fame or funding. Robert Peary, for instance, claimed to have discovered Crocker Land near Greenland in 1906, a landmass that was later proven to be fictional, whether accidental or deliberate; phantom islands reveal the delicate interplay between exploration, imagination, and the human desire to map the unknown.

Demonic Noises or Natural Phenomena?

What gave rise to the Isle of Demons’ fearsome reputation? Accounts from sailors passing near its supposed location tell of disembodied cries echoing through the mist and invisible forces shaking the masts of their ships. Could there be a natural explanation?

Some historians suggest that the “demonic” sounds were likely the cries of seabirds, amplified and distorted by the dense fog. Others propose that the island’s howling winds and the eerie calls of walruses or seals contributed to its supernatural aura. Yet, such explanations fail to account for the vivid descriptions of spirits and terrifying illusions.

Marguerite herself claimed to have encountered natural predators and spectral apparitions, manifestations that seemed to mock and torment her at every turn. Were these hallucinations born of isolation and desperation? Or did the Isle of Demons truly harbor something otherworldly?

The Disappearance of the Isle

As cartographic knowledge of the North Atlantic expanded, the Isle of Demons vanished from maps. By the mid-17th century, it was no longer charted, relegated to the annals of phantom geography. Some believe it was inspired by Quirpon Island, a rugged outpost off Newfoundland’s northern tip. Others point to Harrington Harbour in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, where a cave known as “Marguerite’s Cave” is said to have sheltered the castaway.

Yet the island’s absence from modern maps does little to quell its enduring mystique. Its spectral presence lingers in the imagination, a reminder of the unknown waters that once terrified mariners and the tales that sprang from their encounters.

Why the Isle of Demons Endures

What makes the Isle of Demons so compelling, even centuries after its disappearance? Perhaps it’s the human need to find wonder and fear in the unknown. The legend speaks to when the edges of maps were adorned with dragons and warnings of danger when the world still held secrets waiting to be discovered or avoided.

The story of Marguerite de La Rocque adds a profoundly human dimension. Her survival in the face of betrayal and unimaginable hardship is as haunting as the island itself. As we delve into her tale, we are reminded of the strength of the human spirit and the fine line between reality and legend.

Conclusion: A Mystery That Stirs the Soul

The Isle of Demons has long since vanished from our maps, but its shadow persists in our imaginations, a spectre of mystery and fear. Was it a sailor’s fever dream, a misunderstood trick of the natural world, or a realm touched by the supernatural? Its legend lingers because it taps into something primal: our terror of the unknown and the tantalising possibility of uncovering something extraordinary.

Reflecting on Marguerite de La Rocque’s ordeal, one cannot help but wonder, if cast into such an abyss, would we muster her fortitude, or would the whispers of unseen demons unravel us? The island’s true power lies not in its geography but in its ability to hold a mirror to our fears and our strength, compelling us to ask what lies within when the world outside offers no answers.

Spirit or Spoof? Demon Caught On Camera at Clumber Park

Was a Demon really caught on camera? “It seems we weren’t alone on our early morning walk in Clumber today!” Those were the words Hannah Rowett posted on her Facebook page on December 7th, 2022. She also posted photos and a video clip. At the time of writing this article, the post has gone viral with 660 likes, and 1.9K comments. It’s been shared 2.8K times.

On the morning of December 7th, 2022, local pub owners Hannah and Dave Rowett took their dogs to Clumber Park in Nottingham, United Kingdom. In the early morning darkness, 52-year-old Hannah stood alone outside while her husband was still getting one of the dogs out of their car. She claims that while she waited for him, she felt that they were not alone. As reported in Britain’s The Mirror newspaper, Hannah is no stranger to this feeling. She said that she grew up seeing the ghost of an old man in her childhood home.

Hannah Rowett pointed her flashlight ahead towards the forest path. Then, she captured something strange on her cell phone camera. She claims that the footage is of a demonic figure crawling across the path in front of her.

What do you see in the photo above? What do you see in the moving clip on her Facebook page? Is it something sinister?

Hannah Rowett is not the first person to have reported sightings of ghostly figures in Clumber Park. Purchased by the National Trust in 1946 and preserved on the register of Historic Parks, Clumber Park is a tourist attraction. It’s a place enjoyed for trail walking, camping, and events, but it's also a place visited by those who have an affinity for haunted locations.

Apparently, the Grey Lady of Clumber Park roams the grounds in a long grey cloak. The Nottingham Post reports that misty days are best if you want to see her and watch her vanish into the haze. Is it possible that Hannah’s perception was motivated by this legend, making her vision suggestible to seeing a ghost?

According to weatherspark.com, the temperature in Nottingham, United Kingdom at 6:30 am that day was below freezing, hovering at -2 degrees Celsius. The wind direction was to the West at 9.26 km/hour. The cloud cover that morning is documented as “mostly clear.” It was cold enough to see your breath outside or the exhaust from Rowett’s vehicle. Is that what she actually saw? Or was it in fact a spirit caught on camera?

The Perfect Setting for a Ghost Story

Violence. Divisiveness. Arson. Political tension. These things plagued the 17th Century property owned by the Dukes of Newcastle in Nottinghamshire, England. The land known as Clumber Park was carved out of the legendary Sherwood Forest in 1707 by the 1st Duke of Newcastle. Sherwood Forest is well known in British folklore for its ties to the outlaw Robin Hood.

clumber house

Sometime between 1760 and 1770, a mansion was built on the grounds for the 2nd Duke. Originally a hunting lodge in a private hunting park for Queen Anne, Clumber House was remodelled into a 105-room lavish country home. The property was endowed with 3-mile-long double rows of lime trees and an 87-acre man-made lake.

In 1831, an angry mob fuelled by political strife burned down the house. It was rebuilt but in 1879, an accidental fire destroyed it. Several other fires subsequently occurred and Clumber House was eventually demolished in 1938.

The photo above is the footprint of the home, its walls revealed by parch marks during a heatwave in 2018. The chapel commissioned by the 7th Duke of Newcastle remains standing today. The historical site has been disturbed by archaeological digs, the last of them was in 2018, which uncovered the cellars of Clumber House and various artefacts.

With a history steeped in bad luck, it’s no wonder that tales of the paranormal are part of the local folklore. But, that’s not all.

Murder Amongst the Lime Trees

On July 24th, 2022, the body of Henry Thwaites, an 85-year-old retired man, was found on Lime Tree Avenue, close to Clumber Park. Two people are charged with this gruesome murder. Two others are charged with assisting the alleged offenders.

Did the news of this recent local murder influence what Hannah Rowett perceived? Or was it the ghost of Henry Thwaites running from his attackers?

Demon Caught on Camera! An Evidential Medium Adds a Layer of Potential Explanation

There are so many questions about what Hannah Rowett alleges to have captured on camera on the morning of December 7th. The following is an examination of the reported event by PDN’s Editor-In-Chief and Evidential Medium and researcher, Jock Brocas.

Perceptions and Persuasions

Do your eyes trick you? Actually, most of the time. You can be duped by your own mind and your perceptions, and what you see may be an illusion and far from the truth. When I first saw this, I was intrigued but did not get swayed by the hype. In all paranormal occurrences, you must look toward the natural, environmental and scientific. Only when you have ruled out these three basics can you then suggest there may be another explanation that needs to be investigated.

Many people do not question what they see with their own eyes, but the reality is that your eyes can deceive you all too easily.

Paranormal bias

This may come as a shock to some, and others may scoff, but we are extremely biased as a species because of how we learn and how others see us. The media has a role to play in our bias, including religion and family mechanics. Our own egos play a controlling role upon our bias, and we often fall into the pattern of self-serving bias - especially mediums. What we desire to see, we will see, even if it is not there.

If you are an individual who has an interest in the paranormal, then you are prone to this bias. Sitting at home watching Most Haunted or engaging in the lore and scary stories of old already sets a seed of bias within you. As you will note from my colleague above, this pattern of bias in the environment and with all probability the alleged apparition is somewhat biased.

We all love a good ghost story and even the most ardent skeptic loves to listen to those stories, even if there is no way they would believe in them. As a human species we are developed to tell stories, it is how we learn. These stories that have been told over and over and these same stories make us yearn to believe in them.

Environmental Factors

Our environment plays a fundamental role in how we perceive things. Environmental conditions such as temperature, wind, moisture, light, sound and energy are all contributing factors to our environmental conditions. They also play a pivotal role in how our senses perceive information and how we discern that information is indeed an underdeveloped skill. Without the ability to recognize subtle changes in the environment or energetic patterns, it is easy to fall into the paranormal bias or pareidolia effect based on your beliefs.

The Pareidolia Effect

Unfortunately, pareidolia is rife within the paranormal, afterlife and spiritual communities. In fact, daily I am plagued by claims of the paranormal and the afterlife that are clearly pareidolia and have no evidence to come to a specific conclusion. Signs of spirit and of loved ones are often exaggerated by those who have little understanding or wisdom of the mechanics of divine law.

demon caught on camera - angel or demon
Image: Author, Mary Kay Ranger

What do you see in the image above? It’s a photo taken of evaporating puddles in the co-author’s driveway. Do you see two angels? This is an image that my colleague Mary Kay posted on social media. As I watched the post, i could not help but notice who was responding in amazement. I wanted to reply to give an explanation of the pareidolia effect and suggestions, yet, I did not want to spoil their excitement. It did make me contemplate on how the power of perception whether truth or lie guides our personal realities and bias. This is nothing more than a natural phenomenon that occurs because of the conditions. Yet, so many will claim this as something supernatural as validation of their personal bias.

Pareidolia is the tendency to attribute meaning to a random pattern within your perception. As an example, one could see a pattern in smoke or a cloud and claim they could see an angel or demon. Recently I was sent some images of a cloud formation that was claimed to be demonic. It was not. In fact, the individual was probably more religiously biased. Believing that demons could be seen everywhere, she saw them in clouds.

This same example also happened after 9-11 when the towers fell. There was an image going around claiming that Satan was in the cloud of smoke. This of course is ridiculous, but the sad thing is that many people fall into that trap. Many mediums will attribute signs to something that is normal and is not of a supernatural nature. This is further proliferated when you have media sensationalizing a natural occurrence into something unexplainable. This further fuels expectations and beliefs of those who soak up the hype.

Thoughts from a Medium

As I have mentioned before, there have to be patterns and evidence within the claimed phenomena. Think about storytelling and how that story has a pattern. This is the same with evidence from potential phenomena. Without evidence or storytelling, one cannot conclude there are real paranormal phenomena going on.

Demonic Claims

In the footage, the claim is that a Demon was caught on camera crawling across a path. You can thank the media for that! I am not one to assume that Hannah actually claimed it was Demonic. However, one has to be able to understand the modus operandi of a potential demonic presence or be able to discern its truth from a lie. The evil intelligence that has existed since the beginning of time and has intelligence greater than man in the material world - will not run over a path and be seen. That battlefield is one of the mind and rarely comes to fruition in the material realm. To suggest that a being of that intellect allowed itself to be seen in a situation such as this is rather foolhardy.

Is the Footage Real Paranormal Phenomena?

It is very hard to tell based on what was shown and without any real background story or evidential patterns. Furthermore, the power of suggestion feeds the seeds of implanted bias. One may suggest that something is experienced and that person that is within earshot will concur with the claim. This is apparent in paranormal investigations where one person will suggest or offer a proposal of a particular perception. This is a psychological method of guiding another’s thoughts, perceptions or behavior. The result is that everyone else begins to believe in the suggested thought or experience. This is the power of suggestion.

However, I am inclined to refute the claims of anything paranormal in this story. Not because I do not want it to be right, but because I, like many researchers, really want the phenomena and the evidence to weigh up, so it warrants further investigation. As a professional medium with many years of experience, however, I would have to say that this is one of those mysterious natural environmental anomalies that have more normal than paranormal explanations.

Final Thoughts

Sometimes we can’t stop ourselves from believing everything we see or think we see. As human beings, our brains are wired to look for familiar patterns in the ambiguous in order to make sense of what we are seeing. Given that our minds can be said to be relatively untrustworthy through bias or suggestion, the potential non-paranormal explanations offered above are worthy of evaluation.

We know that Hannah Rowett was already a believer in the paranormal. Does that mean she was primed to interpret the images as a ghostly figure? The alternative explanations may provide more insight into human psychology than support or refute Hannah Rowett’s claims in Clumber Park.

What did Hannah Rowett really capture on camera? You decide.

My Ultimate Encounter With A Demonic Princess

Many people tend to fear, shun or pointblank deny the reality of demonic, low frequency entities. As a former spiritual scaredy-cat turned unwitting advocate for a ‘better the devil you know’ approach to life, I understand how they feel. However, the more I learn about ‘other-worldly’ lower realm work performed by highly experienced spiritual warriors such as authentic shamans and other advanced healing practitioners, the stronger and more optimistic I feel about everything. Basic dark occult awareness has also given me a sense of having access to an ‘upper hand’ in battles between good and evil and useful tools to help me protect myself and keep my personal frequency safe and strong.

So it’s probably no coincidence that I recently connected with a courageous spirit releasement practitioner called Dawn. She commented on a video I posted about the hidden world of black magicians, and later said she nearly deleted it because it sounded so crazy - even to her. Fortunately, I understood where she was coming from primarily because of my shamanic studies with the highly respected and experienced Peruvian curandero (healer) don Oscar Miro-Quesada. He also enlightened many of his western academic peers about the reality of ‘daimonic’ dimensions at various universities and institutions in the USA.

After learning more about Dawn’s other-worldly adventures and most intriguing line of work, she agreed to share an overview of her experience on PDN. There’s a saying that we aren’t given more than we can handle, and I have to say that I can’t think of many people who would take on such a task and survive to tell the story.

A Particularly Bothersome Entity

demonic

As a spirit releasement practitioner for 15 years, I had been privy to a good many entities and situations. But all that training and experience couldn't have prepared me for the ultimate demonic encounter of my life.

I received a call from another practitioner who said he had a request from a client to remove a particularly bothersome entity. The client stated that others had tried to assist but backed off or had no effect. The haunting was still present and couldn't be removed.

So, I decided to give it a go. Other practitioners and mediums reported that the entity was a female, older and really stubborn. They also said she might be a witch that passed over because she had a small dog as a familiar.

I gleaned as much information from them as possible before taking a closer look, stumped as to why no one could remove the female entity along with her little ‘Toto’.

Face to Face With A Succubus

I accessed the client’s apartment building via remote viewing to see if I could find out what was going on and yep, there she was. Some had seen her as a most beautiful woman, highly seductive and persuasive, while others saw her as an old, old woman. When I first viewed her, she used both disguises on me but then I looked further and saw the shape shifter for what she was, a succubus - half human, half demon.

The practitioners were right. She was not budging. She had firmly planted herself in that spot and was not giving it up. I had no idea at the time that the client was involved in the military and being stalked. He also had ties to the music and porn industry. And I didn't know that succubi are drawn to these types of personalities or that victims are also highly mind controlled and abused from an early age. This is often what attracts the attention of these kinds of energy.

Why Few Practitioners Take on a Succubus

When I reached out to shamans, healers and other practitioners for advice on how to remove a succubus, the answers were, " you don't" and "don't get involved". They seemed either spooked or concerned, and didn't elaborate on their experiences. Having never encountered this type of demon before, I had nothing in my personal experience to either deny or confirm what they were saying.

I remote viewed again and confronted the succubus in the astral. We talked, and I thought we had come to an agreement. She would leave and not return. I told her that we would battle should she choose to renege on our agreement. But a short while later, she returned.

Ordinarily, the client tells me the entity is back and then I proceed to go in with guides and forcibly remove them without much trouble. This was totally different. My normal response is to maintain equilibrium and complete awareness as to my actions in the astral. But what happened next was a first, and the only time that I sensed she was there again without being alerted by the client. I went directly to the building in the astral, with a strong sense of the client being in abject danger. The client had already survived an attempt on their life by poisoning and I felt the absolute need to protect and act quickly or the client might end up dead. Or worse. The client risked losing all control and becoming the walking dead. Like the elites. Soul gone, sucked out and tortured, or used to feed others.

The Showdown To End All Showdowns

demonic

My sense of danger heightened as I entered the building and then something absolutely incredible happened without me influencing the events. I went into full on warrior/shaman mode and was thrust out of my body and into the position of an observer watching my now fully armored astral body going through the apartment in hunting mode.

I went straight through the apartment to the bedroom and there she was. She spotted me and hunkered down into a stalking mode with one hand on the floor. She looked at me with incredible hate, and hissed.

My last words to her were, “You were warned.” And she was dealt with.

When All Hell Breaks Loose - Literally

At the time, I had no idea that this succubus was a princess in her realm. When my actions were discovered by her family, all hell broke loose in my world. Nothing could have prepared me for what was to come. Ghosts, demons, hell hounds, black magic, UFOs - the works. I found myself under attack in both covert and not so covert ways. I won a lot of battles but took on heavy, heavy damage and eventually became so ill that I could no longer work or maintain my business. I spent two years in bed, almost dying twice. I was brought back to life by unseen helpers (my guides). At the time I was not grateful to them for their assistance. In fact, I was angry and thought how dare you bring me back to endure more of this hell!

Who would believe all of these things were happening because I unwittingly eliminated a demonic princess? Even I had a hard time wrapping my head around it and it was happening to me. I tried to enlist the help of other healers that understood the dynamics involved but they either couldn't or would go only so far before they got skittish. Some told me outright that it was too dangerous and I was on my own.

Advice To Potential Succubus Hunters

Today, however, I am grateful to my guides, as I found my way out of that dark hole of no return and came out stronger, faster, smarter and a whole lot wiser. Today, I wouldn't trade this experience for anything because of the lessons learned and the knowledge gained. I know myself and what I can accomplish and also know my limits. And these gifts are actually the only thing you can take with you when you leave this realm.

What advice would I give to another practitioner if they came to me and asked, how do you handle a succubus? My response would be, you don't. Should you decide to take it on, be ready to fight for your life in ways you never imagine. And if you live to tell the story, you will have gained information and wisdom beyond your wildest dreams. It is such a rare experience that most won't believe, while a few will envy you, having no idea how hard you had to fight or how much courage you had to summon. Should you decide to fight the good fight, get ready to touch the stars and truly understand who you are and what power you hold. And how incredibly loved you are by the universe.

Can the Love Frequency Play A Role In Removing Entities?

demonic
Image: Canva

After reading Dawn’s compelling story, I was reminded of how some military veterans use remote viewing to send love vibrations to the enemy to change their vibration until they are vulnerable enough to be taken down. I asked her if she has used the love frequency in her line of work:

Love does work if you are dealing with humans. What I do now is address the entities in the humans. It's a pretty cool trick and works like a charm. I see past the humans and leave them alone. I go for the puppet master.

The ones that we are currently working on are the main controllers. I realized that picking minions off people was not going to get the job done and these are the ones that have no plug-in for human emotions. But I was assigning emotions to them. It was almost a fatal mistake on my part. And I think that is why I was spared a couple of times.

Guides were like, really? Dawn, you’re not getting it. Use love of yourself to protect, have mercy for those in pain and compassion for those deserving. All others have made their choice.

And when I go into a "job" of clearing out tunnels or clearing the Vatican or clearing heavily charged negative places, I never pick a fight with the demons there. We go in and change the energy. We find the spell and its charm and undo it. If we are attacked, we defend, but not until. Usually the entities there leave because they have been forced by magic to serve. But anything that squats and hisses gets run over.

Demon Family Structures and Bloodlines

Newly aware that certain bloodline families on earth are related to specific demons, some even leaving an empty chair at the dinner table for their beloved Satan, Dawn’s reference to the family of the succubus prompted me to enquire if all demons have families:

Succubi do have a "family" structure and bloodlines. They are half human and half demon. They are born and bred for abilities in the structure. Sort of like the royal families. They are valued only for their gifts and how well they perform their duties. And they have a strict hierarchy.

Some succubi are cast out and roam around on their own if they are not up to par. Usually, those take on incubus (male demon) for protection and as a slave, but they are forbidden to breed. If they breed without "family" approval, the child demon is killed, if and when it's discovered. The succubus and incubus that created the "child" without permission, will also be destroyed. Before a child is conceived, many rituals are performed to assure good stock and ultimate control. Every once in a while, one slips through the cracks but renegades are are never spared if caught.

How Do You Ensure A Safe Return to 3D?

I have a lady that is my ground wire. When I go into the astral, sometimes I go so far out to gather info and work, that finding my way back would be very hard. Some go insane if they don't have a grounding person that knows their limits. We have been working together for about 25 years. She is the best! I can fly and know that I will be brought back into 3 D without too much trouble. Guides give us suggestions as to where to go to be most effective and if we get stumped, they offer solutions.

Letting people know about this realm is so important because so much information about this line of work has been destroyed. Thanks so much for taking the time and interest.

In closing, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the unseen and unknown courageous spiritual warriors out there whose vital work continues to bring more truth and light to our world every day.

Should Parents Be Concerned About The Charlie Charlie Challenge?

Supernatural games have always been popular with both young and old. Just think about games such as ‘Bloody Mary’ and the Ouija Board, which have been around for a very long time. When one wants to connect with the afterlife, you either go to a medium or you play a supernatural game, but at your own peril. One of the latest supernatural games to come forward is the Charlie-Charlie Challenge. But should parents be concerned about this new game and their children’s interest in it?

The game could be described as a basic version of the Ouija Board, which works with pencils. It has been heavily featured on social media and so a large number of children have been exposed to it. To start the game, the phrase “Charlie, Charlie can we play” is uttered. Then, a question is asked and participants wait for the pencil to move towards “yes” or “no”.

Do Supernatural Games Have A Harmful Effect On Children?

Supernatural games have been around for a very long time and have always fascinated the younger generation. Yet, despite their popularity, there is little research into the effects of these supernatural games on children.

Despite the lack of research into the effects of supernatural games on children, we do know some of the numbers in terms of these game sales. While the Charlie Charlie Challenge is quite rudimentary, there are actual supernatural games for sale in stores such as Toys R Us. In 2014, a Ouija Board marketed for children and young adults saw a sale increase of a whopping 300%!

Researchers have looked into why people are so fascinated with supernatural games. To understand this, we need to look at three reasons why people are so fascinated by horror films. These three reasons are relevance, tension, and unreal ism. In other words, some part of the horror film is relevant for the watcher, yet the viewer will experience suspense and a situation that is far removed from their own reality despite the relevance. A similar explanation could be found for the Charlie Charlie Challenge. Another theory by Dr. Carl Jung claims that supernatural scary films actually go deep into our collective subconscious and connect to a so-called primordial archetype. However, this theory is subject to quite a lot of criticism within the psychological society.

So, since there is no research into the effects of these games on the psyche of children and adults, it is impossible to determine if they are from a psychological standpoint. Of course, it also opens the door to some interesting psychological research that would be well-worth exploring.

Religious Standpoint

Since children are attempting to contact demons during the Charlie Charlie Challenge, there has been a reaction from the Catholic Church. One priest called Father Stephen McCarthy gave the following warning to his students:

"There is a dangerous game going around on social media which openly encourages impressionable young people to summon demons. I want to remind you all there is no such thing as 'innocently playing with demons'. Please be sure to NOT participate and encourage others to avoid participation as well. The problem with opening yourself up to demonic activity is that it opens a window of possibilities which is not easily closed."

Conclusion

As I often think from a psychological perspective, there is no evidence that playing supernatural games could cause harm to children. That being said, there is such a thing as common sense. Even though there is no evidence to prove that harm is being caused, there is no proof that no harm is being caused either. So, this is very much a case reminiscent of schrodinger's cat. It could, or it could not.

At the end of the day, it is important to educate children on the dangers of playing with supernatural games and their implications. Information and education tends to be the right course of action, even though if children seem to dismiss any efforts made towards it. But at the end of the day, the message will be in the back of their mind.

Demonic Possession And Its Thin Grey Line

Over the last few years, there has been a dramatic upsurgence in claims of Demonic Possession. Whilst some may have a valid issue that may not be explainable by medical science. There is a grave reaction to label all imbalances of the psyche, or emotions as a spiritual issue such as Demoniacal possession. This is the thin, grey, paranormal line that is tread by ignorance and fools. All too often there will be medical professionals, religious practitioners, paranormal groups and clergy that will be too quick to jump and label something as demonic or of an other worldly influence.

  • Yoga Is Not demonic
  • Reiki Is Not Demonic
  • Healing Is Not Demonic
  • Bad Moods are not Demonic
  • Depression Is Not Demonic
  • Mindfulness Is Not Demonic

and so on!

Neither do any of these cause Demonic Possession. That cause and effect lies squarely at the feet of man and the choices made.

Psychology Of Demonic Possession

Granted, there are many symptoms of Demonic influence that mimic that of a medical problem, such as a psychological imbalance or of course a psychiatric issue. However, there are many clear distinctions which separate the preternatural from the natural one. An emotional issue of anger, depression, and violent outbursts do not necessarily mean one is possessed, and there is a need for a paranormal investigator, team or priest. A cold spot that chills you to the bone may have another plausible explanations, as do some other issues, such as seeing visions or of course hearing a voice.

These are all valid issues within the medical professions that do have a psychological basis for explanation. Many people who are more spiritually minded will often look for an excuse of behavior in order to blame a preternatural force. Dr Graham C.L. Davey Ph.D. alludes to this on his article featured in Psychology Today. In this regard, many spiritualists, even medical professionals, and of course clergy, are those who believe in something more sinister or preternatural. They will shout claims of demonic influence or spirit obsession. However, we have gotten away from the real clear division of phenomena versus another form of pareidolia.

Spirit Obsession

Spirit Obsession can of course be the influence of one or more spirit entities. However, this is not Demonic. It is not an archetypal demon of a higher order. Spirits can and do influence our lives - especially those of a weaker disposition. It is not an excuse for bad behavior or emotional imbalance brought on by external trauma. We must not mix the two and instantly use excuses of evil influence.

Consequently; many mental illnesses do have some roots in spiritual imbalance and that issue should not be overlooked when looking at mental illness that may have entered someone's life. And there are many cases of where spiritual help has indeed negated that need for medical intervention. Again, this is not a Demonic problem.

There Is A Clear Division From Demon Possession Or Oppression and Psychological Imbalance

Someone is levitating with no possible scientific explanation. Perhaps they are changing in appearance and shouting blasphemy all whilst physical manifestations are going on around you. Emanating putrid smells or bodily fluids and excrement, not to mention that feeling of foreboding and evil that is projected to the sensitive or even non-sensitive individual. There would also be external manifestations of phenomena experienced in the immediate environment, and perhaps even phenomena that is directed in a highly intelligent and deliberate way. Then, of course, one must begin to look at possible paranormal or imbalanced spiritual causation as a point of serious enquiry.

The Need For Discernment On Both Sides Of The Coin

One cannot be successful without the other. One cog won't turn on its own. There has to be a relationship between something as equal in make up and force. Both of these aspects working in unison - bring about the successful movement of the cog that may then have a positive effect on the other. It is time that professionals such as the scientific, medical and spiritual community work together. Each has their own level of discernment. Whilst one aspect may work in the material plain, it is evident that there is a great gap within the non physical plain of existence and this is where perhaps the use of real mediums or those with the power of spiritual discernment should be used as the bridge between the physical, non-physical and religious.

Making False Claims Opens The Box

There are two clear dangers that one can look at as a possibility. The first is making a false diagnosis of demon influence, or possession, and that must be taken seriously. The second is to consider how much suffering it would cause to the inflicted. This could be an individual or a family, and diagnosing something as Demoniacal may cause more anxiety, and suffering.

On the other side of the coin, you have to consider the real danger of becoming the catalyst for real infestation. You have now become one of the causing factors, and you will now have to pay the price either by directly being in the line of danger or of course allowing mother Karma to pay you a visit.

The Reality

Demonic possession is real. Spiritual obsession is real, but so are psychological imbalances, mental illness and of course forms of psychosis. It is therefore important that medical professionals begin to look toward working with professionals that are highly experienced in the spiritual field. Also, working with professional paranormal investigators that consider all avenues of the preternatural as the natural. It is a far too dangerous field that should not be frequented by less experienced, ego-driven individuals, pr groups that can leave a trail of destruction in their wake, making the thin grey line of Demoniacal Possession a reality.

Better the Devil You Know

One of my favourite quotes of all time comes from the African shamanic culture: “Nature is magic and magic is natural.” I have believed in magic for as long as I can remember, and whiled away many happy childhood hours with my imaginary friends in Enid Blyton’s Magic Faraway Tree. When mum made me and my sister some fluffy angel wings to wear, we put our instant flying powers to the test by jumping off dad’s red ladder in the garden. As you do. Undeterred by consistent crash landings, Planet Earth felt like an exciting place to be for an inquisitive and imaginative child - St Peters, Adelaide, South Australia, to be precise.

As I grew older, life began to feel decidedly heavier, and the magic began to fade. The sudden death of my dad in 1980, just weeks after the equally devastating and untimely death of John Lennon, left me with some significant questions about God’s existence. A hefty burden for a 17 year old. By my early twenties, I began to quietly explore the esoteric realms, most of which were mocked, discouraged and demonized. Astrology was for weirdos, spiritualist churches were full of evil occultists and the concept of life after death was deemed nonsensical.

Like most people, I shuddered at the mere mention of the word occult because I equated it with the unpalatable work of the devil, even though I didn’t believe the devil existed. I enjoyed learning about astrology, numerology, runes and other sacred forms of divination but chose to disassociate them from the occult because I didn’t consider them to be evil. However, my idealistic, esoteric world began to transform in the mid-90s when I dipped my toes into the ancient shamanic world of healing and magic which dates back over a hundred thousand years. Even then, I skirted around the edges of the daemonic ‘underworld’, preferring to focus on the healing arts and how to harness the magic of nature. By the mid 2000’s, the universe conspired to connect me to a spiritual medium with whom I fell into a ten year relationship, an invaluable experience that provided deep and often rare insight into the delicate and deeply comforting art of authentic mediumship.

When it was time to part company with the medium and my entire life as I knew it, I also left the spiritual scene behind. With the rise of the internet, I watched the essence of esoteric authenticity and purity become overrun with well marketed wannabe ‘pop-up’ psychics and mediums. This left me feeling frustrated, disillusioned and concerned for vulnerable, grieving souls who were easy prey for the growing community of online shysters looking to make a few bucks from fortune telling and fake mediumship.

Just when I thought I was done with dabbling in the spirit world, along came Susan Filer, a kindred spirit from the UK who hosted an extraordinary spiritual sanctuary and private online group for people interested in learning more about authentic mediumship and all things related to spirit. We exchanged a few private messages about our concerns regarding the invasion of spiritual charlatans and she recommended that I contact Jock Brocas, a spiritual medium, author and educator who was on the same virtual page.

I must confess that my inner scaredy cat recoiled when I learned that Jock also specialized in education about the darker side of the occult and was nearing completion of his latest book Deadly Departed. Soon after that, I was drawn to a Shift Network course about the shamanic healing arts, magic and medicine under the guidance of a highly sought after Peruvian kamasqa curandero (healer), scholar and educator don Oscar Miro-Quesada. Between Brocas, Miro-Quesada and additional studies with author, attorney and leading authority on energy medicine, Deborah King, I safely delved into the daemonic realities of the ‘unseen’ realms and learned to replace fear and avoidance with confidence and understanding of how to navigate such dimensions if necessary.

The DeviI Has His Part To Play

“The devil ain’t got no power over me. The devil comes, and I shake hands with the devil. The devil has his part to play. Devil’s a good friend, too… because when you don’t know him, that’s the time he can mosh you down.” — Bob Marley

In hindsight, I can now see the unfolding trail of spiritual teachers who helped me prepare for my unexpected journey into the deepest, darkest realms of mass deception in March 2020, when Corona officially landed in Australia. Whilst curating articles for ‘The Book of Comfort: Grief and Loss to Solace and Hope’, an Otherside Press project I had embarked on with Jock Brocas, I began to collaborate on a parallel book project with an inexperienced author whose raw, esoteric and often painful manuscript explored various themes ranging from ancestral healing, growing up in a cult family, recovering from child sex abuse and dealing with dark occult interferences. Most of her occult claims and experiences were completely new to me, and required extensive research to qualify.

As a result, I found myself on a fast tracked learning curve about the reality of generational satanic and Luciferian bloodline families where ritual child abuse, child sacrifice and cannibalism are common place; clandestine, harmful, black magick rituals that are repeatedly inflicted upon humankind by powerful, unelected creatures at the highest levels; the reality of psychopathic addictions to satanic ritual abuse and blood sacrifice of children; a US$150+ billion/year child trafficking, organ and adrenochrome harvesting racket. These hideous crimes were my most gruesome discoveries by far. Nonetheless, I helped the author develop and structure her manuscript into a readable form that an editor may consider working on and was really happy to move on from those darker realms. A job that I estimated would take about 3 months, took 9 months to complete and even then there was more work to do but that was the writer’s job.

Is the Occult Really Such a Dark and Dangerous Place?

Interesting to note that the mainstream online world will still have you believe that the occult is either a dark and dangerous place, dismissed as devilish nonsense or an elitist realm reserved for a select few such as secret societies including the Freemasons (that are not so secret anymore). Here are some examples of standard definitions I found on higher profile websites:

Cambridge Dictionary - (noun) relating to magical powers and activities such as witchcraft and astrology.

Merriam Webster- (noun) matters regarded as involving the action or influence of supernatural or supernormal powers or some secret knowledge of them.

Lexico - Oxford - (noun) Mystical, supernatural, or magical powers, practices, or phenomena.

Bible Study - Biblically, the occult is any practice that tries to gain supernatural power, abilities, or knowledge apart from the creator God. The Bible is clear regarding what the Eternal thinks about man's foolish attempts to circumvent Him.

Wikipedia: The occult, in the broadest sense, is a category of supernatural beliefs and practices which generally fall outside the scope of religion and science, encompassing such phenomena involving otherworldly agency as mysticism, spirituality, and magic. It can also refer to supernatural ideas like extra-sensory perception and parapsychology.

Online Etymology Dictionary - 1530s, “secret, not divulged,” from French occulte and directly from Latin occultus “hidden, concealed, secret,” past participle of occulere “cover over, conceal, from assimilated form of ob “over” + a verb related to celare “to hide” (from PIE root kel “to cover, conceal, save”). Meaning “not apprehended by the mind, beyond the range of understanding” is from 1530s. The association with the supernatural sciences (magic, alchemy, astrology, etc.) dates from 1630s.

When I broadened my search to some of the more obscure sites offering definitions of the occult, I discovered more resonant results. For example, Unimed Living’s Unimedpedia was a particularly spiritually nourishing find:

"The word ‘occult’ is one of the most sacred words that one can use and know. What it means, what it describes and what it reveals is that which God is; and from there, what forms God’s Science and thus the Science of God Himself." Serge Benhayon, An Open Letter to Humanity

I must confess that when I initially saw the word ‘God’, I flinched just a little and accepted that I had more work to do in relation to esoteric education and making peace within myself. But the more I read, the more I resonated:

"The true meaning of the word ‘occult’ is in complete contrast to the grossly erroneous conception, reference, inference and or direct claim that the word ‘occult’ is in any way associated with evil or witches, warlocks, ‘black magic’ or harm etc. The word ‘occult’ means the culture of God or the way of God. When the true meaning of the word occult is known to many more, and eventually by the majority, it will be found why it is so desirable to have it in its bastardised meaning by those who so desire it to the point of insisting that they are right and that there is no other meaning. For ‘them’, there is much to explain once the true meaning is more widely known … a meaning that unites all by one common truth." Serge Benhayon, Esoteric Teachings & Revelations

The following Unimedpedia passage also bears repeating, as it concisely weaves together the spiritual value of inviting the occult and esoteric into our lives:

“The occult is the entirety of the Whole and the esoteric is the many parts that make up the whole. If the occult is ‘all there is’ and we are separated from this, then by virtue of our withdrawal, we have created the very ‘parts’ that now need to be reconciled with the whole they are now existing a-part from. When one lives esoterically from the impulses of the Soul, the occult will reveal itself in full. It is up to each of us whether we choose to live this way or not and to what degree we will live it.” Unimedpedia

Armed with a new appreciation of why it really is better to know the devil than not, along with the benefits of ‘full spectrum’ occult awareness, I look forward to sharing more thought provoking revelations in a series of forthcoming articles for Paranormal Daily News.

“The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince people he didn't exist. The disguises the devil used this time were simple and the people were easily fooled. A suit and tie plus a white lab coat were all that were needed.” Poul Larsen, ColdCast

Evil Influence, Psychosis and Mental Imbalance

In the words of the Father of Psychology William James;

“The refusal of modern enlightenment to treat obsession as a hypothesis to be spoken of as even possible, in spite of the massive human tradition, based on concrete experience in its favor, has always seemed to me a curious example of the power of fashion in things scientific. That the demon theory (not necessarily a devil theory) will have its innings again is to my mind absolutely certain. One has to be 'scientific' indeed to be blind and ignorant enough not to suspect any such possibility” William James (1909)

Battle Lines

There has been a never-ending battle that’s been waging since the dawn of time - the battle between good and evil. In every religious text and in every belief system runs a parallel line of thought. An evil malevolent force exists and wishes to bring down that which it is in opposition by using every power and trick in the book. As a consequence, bringing the fall of man to reality.

Evil Influence Belief

Whether you believe in a concept of evil or not; you can’t help but notice something that is in opposition to everything that we see as good in our lives. All around us exists something nefarious. Whether it is at a level of country leadership, within governments, personal, or mass group consciousness; One cannot deny the reality that atrocities happen globally. That cannot be at the action of a force known as love or divinity personified.

It is futile to try to grasp that concept of evil is good. Moreover,; for the new age camp that considers an atrocity to be some great divine lesson, let’s take a step back and get to grips with reality. The war between good and evil is still forging ahead. We must question our fundamental perceptions and belief in the concept. Influence of evil exists all around us, and lack of awareness affords no protection. It is not tied down to religions, beliefs or indeed locality.

Consider A New Paradigm For Evil Influence

As a Consequence, there may exist another explanation to be given consideration. Consider, if there was another hypothesis regarding these events. What if there was a greater nefarious plan in action at this moment in time that goes unnoticed by man. This exists because of our ignorance of concepts beyond the realms of scientific explanation? Therefore, what if evil influence permeated more than we know?

Allow me to lay a possible hypothesis and plant a seed that may change that perception. Consider if you will; these atrocities were at the hand of evil influence by malevolent intelligence. This means of course, influences people of power, individuals and groups? Let’s look at a new paradigm. What if an evil agency exists with a will and a plan, and above all, intelligence to influence.

A Hypothesis on Mental Illness and Evil Influence

There’s a great divide in the scientific community. One side considers there is a biological problem to mental illness, and that no other explanations exist, therefore behavior is measured by the mental balance. The other suggests that a more spiritual route or energetic imbalance is caused by outside influence. Consequently, this would include a perception of a spirit or intelligent force. This could be the common factor in many cases of Psychosis, Dissociative Identity Disorder and other forms of mental imbalances.

Malevolent Intelligence

I choose the term imbalance because I do not wish to label something as an illness, which may have malevolent intelligence and evil influence behind it. I also concur that some issues will have a physiological and biological cause responds to modern sciences and treatment. Nevertheless, ; consider if those cases — where there is no plausible explanation as to nature and of the cause and effect of a situation, person or event had another explanation. What if there was another potential that involves possible evil influence?

Could we indeed be the pawns in a chess game between these forces of polar opposites? There’s no doubt about it that we are influenced in our daily lives without even thinking. We are an emotional species and so what hits our emotions via our senses has a cause and effect. We often run our lives governed by our emotions.

Mind Stimulation

What stimulates our minds has a dramatic effect on our lives. Therefore, we all dissociate at some point, though only temporary. This can be through daydreams or being distracted by thoughts that enter our mind. The reality is that we have control over that, and we can come back to the present anytime one desires.

In visualizing something or hearing something that stimulates a particular emotional response. This cause results in an effect of us carrying out that influence. It could be a simple example of being compelled to buy something or eat something. At the very basis of this is the reality, we are compelled to do something by a thought that has a stimulus in emotion. We must then question how, if we are compelled, would it be wrong to assume that one could be compelled negatively by an external evil influence.

Whether hearing voices or thoughts that influence our actions, we can all succumb to dissociation of the self from reality.

Dissociative Identity Disorder Or Multiple Personality Disorder or Evil Influence

“Who Said that,” “He Did, No — She Did.”

The above quote may be quite tart in its taste, but it does exemplify exactly what Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) or Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) is, and how a layperson can understand it. From a spiritual perspective, there exists another hypothesis. This hypothesis often goes against the belief of our scientific colleagues, Psychologists or Psychiatrists, and there is often a deep-seated hidden fear to agree to something out of the realms of scientific understanding.

Dissociative Identity Disorder

DID is a rather severe aspect of psychosis and separation from the self. It refers to the individual referring to themselves as separate entities. The individual has no control of their own thoughts. Consequently, some scientific communities would consider this to be a coping mechanism to a negative event such as abuse of some kind. One has to consider that a more mental influence exists from outside forces. A kind of telepathic mind manipulation under the agency of powerful nefarious intelligence. Even though there may be biological and genetic problems, what if the phenomena and behavior goes beyond human understanding?

Dr. Bruce Lipton suggests in his Groundbreaking book, “Biology of Belief Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter, and Miracles” that your mind and thoughts influence your DNA and your perceptions. Therefore, this understanding leashes an inner power open to us all. Consequently, on the other side of the coin; should our mind and thoughts be influenced negatively, then the negative expression will ensue.

Malevolent Intelligence

I have mentioned this before, but we must understand what it means. This is not just a form of innocuous energy. It has a conscious expression, will, and judgment. It has the capacity for thought and planning, knowledge and discernment, and can separate certain aspects of its consciousness to a defined planned action. This intelligence can obsess, influence and eventually possess given the right conditions. So we can be open to obsessional influence to carry out the willful expression of malevolent Intelligence.

Obsession Rather Than Possession

Obsession is understood in the Merriam-Webster dictionary as;

‘ a persistent disturbing preoccupation with an often unreasonable idea or feeling - broadly: compelling motivation.’

When one considers the differences of possession and obsession from a spiritual stance. You have to understand that one influences, and the other is total control of one’s will, and that also means free will. In a demonic possession, a malevolent force will occupy the mind and body of the chosen host. For this hypothesis, we will look toward more of an obsessive influence with a diabolical modus operandi.

An obsession of the mind

One misjudgment that I believe is the cause of ignorance of evil is labeling something such as schizophrenia as a disease of the mind. One does not take into account that another intelligence is at work. This evil influence can be masked as differing perceptions and disorders.

DID or MPD is of course associated with the hearing of voices. That to my mind is a type of mediumship psychosis or a form of psychosis that has been brought on by spirit influence of a person of weak spiritual disposition. At this juncture; I would like to bring into this hypothesis - the existence of Demons or malevolent intelligence as the influence with nefarious intent, will, and plan. Whether you believe in this reality matters not, as the existence does not rely on your perception or belief. Just because you don’t believe in gravity, it won’t stop you falling.

Obsession, Oppression and Evil Influence

This evil influence brought on by the agency of Demonic oppression or spirit oppression. This can cause one to experience the interference of external thought that is not within the normal expression of the chosen host, this may also give cause to experiencing other phenomena within the mind. Such phenomena such as the hearing of voices, or the visualization of scenes and images within one's mind is a fundamental principle of Schizophrenia. Furthermore, the idea the phenomena may be the will of malevolent intelligence is frowned upon. As a consequence, the science community would rather err on the side of caution and claim a biological or genetic malfunction of the human condition.

evil influence

Hearing Voices With Malicious Intent

Now let’s consider for a moment those voices. Those whispering intonations within the mind of one who is perceptible to spiritual influence are the influences and thoughts of a highly evolved yet malevolent intelligence. This is the beginning of a constant subtle nuance of influence in the person's life. The person is thus beginning to become suppressed by negative thoughts or identities molding the mind. It happens very slowly and deliberately over time with a hidden agenda. Perhaps the chosen host does not actually recognize this influence. It is so subtle and almost imperceptible to that individual

Hudson Tuttle in the “Arcana Of Spiritualism” Alludes to this;

“While sitting in a circle at the home of the venerable Dr. Underhill, I was for the time in an almost unconscious state, and recognized the presence of several Indian spirits. The roar of the Cayahoga River over the rapids could be heard in the still evening air, and to my sensitive ear was very distinct. Suddenly I was seized with a desire to rush away to the rapids, and throw myself into the river… someone caught hold of me, and aroused me out of the impressible state I was in, so that I gained control of myself. Had the state been more profound, and had I once started, the end might have been different. The desire remained all the evening.”

This continuation of subtle thought patterns begins to influence other aspects of the mind and body through emotional subjugation. It is comprehensible that one can be influenced or obsessed by an evil entity to carry out evil atrocities. Could it just be hearing voices with further control or obsessive action on other aspects such as emotions that translate to the body from the mind?

The following paragraph is from an article I wrote many years ago on this subject.

Perpetrator Or Innocent Host

Whilst hearing the voices over and again, the victim is consumed by the presence of the entity. It is not long before the being is guiding the soul to commit evil odious acts. During committing a murder, the murderer claims that he or she is not aware of what is going on. Only later when everything is finished do they realize that — standing with blood on their hands, they have committed a murder and taken someone’s life. This could also be a possible hypothesis for other such crimes, and acts of terror upon persons, countries and of course populations.

Occasionally though, the individual is aware of what they are doing. They know that what they are doing is wrong. Is that a case for obsessions and possessions or an answer to hearing voices as aforementioned? It most certainly is; the person concerned becomes controlled by the entity, and yet he or she knows nothing of this and though aware has no power to control. In short, he or she remains oblivious to an unnatural force that is attached and influencing the mind beyond human understanding. Therefore, it is possible that Schizophrenia can be induced by spirit entities that manipulate the energy of the body to bring about a physical change in the brain or hormones within the human condition.

a murderer under evil influence

About the symptoms and plan of the crimes

Could it be possible then that a probable excuse would be that, the human did not carry out the murder — it was the entity. That would make the murderer — not a murderer but an accessory to the crime.

Perception of belief

In a perfect world as with scientific movies; would it not be an ideal condition to capture the spirit and hold it accountable for the atrocious crime. Yet in the real world, it remains a fact, you cannot prove the existence of something that you are not aware of by physical sight. If we can’t see it, it is humanistic to not believe it. However, we do believe in the presence of God or another holy deity. So there is an unbalance in this perception.

Why then do we not believe that evil exists, and demons, personified in murders, mass shootings, war’s, abuse, as well as physical acts of evil, exist within the outer realms? Is it not then suitable to also consider that leaders of countries, religions, and within our governments could be influenced by a malevolent force. Therefore, making judgments and decisions that ultimately do not serve the human race, but fuel the will of an evil plan as the catalyst of control.

Insanity

Insanity as far as I believe is tantamount to possession from an unnatural force manipulating the mind. Psychologists would have you believe that there is a medical reason for everything. An imbalance here or there. Secretly though, the same professionals will also admit to the possibility of the existence of evil as a supernatural being.

We are energy in motion. Even though we manipulate other forms of energy to create an opinion, a cure, or a system of understanding — it is nothing more than vibrating atoms moving at speeds we cannot grasp. Man did not believe that atoms existed until; it was successfully split in 1911 by a British scientist named Ernest Rutherford. If vibrating atoms vibrate at such a high-speed, and we cannot see it. Does it mean that It's not there?

Thus, the same is a probable thesis for demonic possession or spirit attachment. This energy form exists and manipulates at will through its own will and intelligence. The cases above in some form or another prove the existence of this force, seen or unseen.

Understanding Diabolical Possessions

When trying to understand the difference between these states, as mentioned before, one is of influence, and the other - diabolical possession. It is taking control of mind and body. Therefore, the differences in obsession and possession are no longer questionable in regard to mental imbalance. The reason is clear. When full Diabolical Possession occurs, the phenomena is clear and distinct. It has a pattern and intelligence and can be witnessed externally by others no matter religion, belief nor creed.

Beyond Science

If someone is levitating with no possible scientific explanation. Perhaps they are changing in appearance ‘Physiognomy,’ and shouting blasphemy all whilst physical manifestations are going on around you. Emanating putrid smells or bodily fluids, and excrement, not to mention that feeling of foreboding of evil that is projected to the sensitive, or even non-sensitive individual is beyond explanation. There would also be external manifestations of phenomena that would be external to the victim. These phenomena are experienced in the immediate environment, and perhaps phenomena that is directed in a highly intelligent and deliberate way.

One must then begin to look at possible paranormal or imbalanced spiritual causation as a point of serious inquiry, needing further research and analysis. This is real Diabolical possession, and very often the individual has no control of the body or the mind, therefore evil can be carried out by the hand of the human host. There are many cases where perpetrators have memory blanks and remember nothing and having no control of body nor mind.

Global Influences By Evil Entities

Anyone, place or group can be influenced and obsessed by malevolent intelligence if active awareness and understanding do not become commonplace. There could just as well be Demonic influence at a global level with leaders of countries and governments. This also includes religions and spiritual movements. It is safe to assume, that we as divine beings would not necessarily be the perpetrators of heinous acts without such influences external to ourselves and manipulating us for malevolent entertainment and the carrying out of evil will.

Demons Roam

Personally, I know that Demons do not just roam looking for victims. Nevertheless, there is a plan and an evil will and intelligence behind that modus operandi. The plan is beyond our perception, and we will never know the reality behind it, but we can, of course, become educated to perhaps become more aware so that we can take action, personally and in mass conscious expression. Whether evil chooses one or many, it is in total opposite to that which is good. It is safe to assume that obsessive influence can be the catalyst to many atrocities and heinous acts of crime within our world.

Psychical Researcher James Hyslop had this to say about obsession and spirit Influence;

Psychical researcher James H. Hyslop in Contact with the Other World (1919), observes:

"If we believe in telepathy, we believe in a process which makes possible the invasion of a personality by someone at a distance. It is not at all likely, that sane and intelligent spirits are the only ones to exert influence from a transcendental world. If they can act on the living there is no reason why others cannot do so as well. The process, in either case, would be the same; we should have to possess adequate proof that nature puts more restrictions upon ignorance and evil in the next life than in this in order to establish the certainty that mischievous personalities do not or cannot perform nefarious deeds. The objection that such doctrine makes the world seem evil applies equally to this situation in the present life."

In Conclusion, A Psychologists Perspective

Another great parapsychologist and researcher recently said to me. “Jock any claims made have to have extraordinary evidence” and that Occam's razor will often throw perceptions and assumptions off balance. Sometimes as with the simplest reason behind something, as suggested by Occam's razor, can also mean the realms external to science and materialistic understanding. If the scientist can use the theory, then, so to, can we try to understand the Occult or that which is hidden? Perhaps the simplest explanation is that we are influenced by malevolent forces. Until science can accept that another hypothesis may actually hold the simple answer, is it not time we stopped running around in circles.

Encountering people with paranormal gifts can be a wonderful experience, especially if there is no hidden agenda, but in some cases, it can be a bad one, it can even destroy one's life. There are people out there who do not have your best interest at heart and are looking for cold hard profit at any cost and that could even be your soul. According to NBC Boston, a Massachusetts palm reader who conned a client for $7o,000 claiming she needed it to essentially buy back her daughter's soul and remove the demon into a barbie doll.

A palm reader, Tracey Milanovich, from Somerset was arrested last week. She stands accused of stealing approximately $71,000 from a client. The palm reader in question had convinced the woman that her daughter was possessed by a demon. She also told her that giving her the money would allow her to buy back her soul and vanquish the demon by placing it into a barbie doll.

The Fall River District Court has released a statement on Monday about the palm reader. They state that she stands accused of larceny for an amount bigger than $1,200, intimidation of a witness, as well as obtaining property by trick.

Sources say that Tracey Milanovich is the owner of Tracy’s Psychic Palm Reader and that she stole around $71,000 from one client. In addition to the money swindle, she also told the woman to buy her common household items, including towels and bedding, and that the more valuable the item the more the demon would be affected. Milanovich kept asking for money, according to the police report, claiming that a previous payment "only cleaned half of her daughter," and that she needed an "additional $6,058.00 to remove what was left. How To Protect Yourself Against Psychics With Poor Intentions?

Just like in any profession, psychics and mediums can be evaluated these days. Evidently, some have become very good at conning people but there are organizations to protect you from them and who have high standards when it comes to the paranormal. There are also organizations that help you find a trustworthy psychic or a medium.

Some of the organizations that are often used as a reference are;

These organizations have standards by which one must abide and also have to reach in order to become a member, certified or listed by them. When using some of the sites, by entering the service that you are looking for and your area, you can get an immediate overview of suitable mediums or psychics. You are able to make a choice on many whom are listed based on their history, reviews and so much more.

Evidently, there are some things you can look out for to ensure you are not being tricked by a fraudulent psychic. Here are some of our tips to ensure you have a good experience.

Do your homework

Research is key when you want to find a good psychic. Some people may appear like the best out there, but the reality can be quite different from the claim. Look for reviews, experiences, and even advice from friends and family who may have visited someone before.

Check the rates

Being a psychic is a job just like any other; this means that you will have to pay a fee for a private reading. The location where you reside can make a huge difference in terms of cost and availability. To get a better idea about the cost of psychics in your area, it can be a good idea to call around or look online for going rates in your area. Remember, the most expensive may not always be the best and similarly to the level of fame.

Unusual demands

The story above is a cautionary tale. The palm reader in question was able to fraudulently obtain large amounts of money and even property by fooling her clients. When a psychic has unusual demands such as signing over your house or buying them things in addition to the session price or using fear to get what they want, then alarm bells should start ringing. Be sure not to give them anything.

To avoid huge costs that have not been agreed upon, agree on a price before you head to the session. If the costs are considerably higher upon your arrival, then you may be dealing with a fraudulent psychic.

Being Approached

If you are approached randomly in public with someone who has a message or who felt like they must connect with you to tell you something out of the ordinary, then run a mile. This is highly unprofessional and is one of the first signs that you are about to be tricked.

Growth In Mediumship and Psychic Business

It is unfortunate that in the modern-day, everyone seems to be a medium, or is an amazing psychic and to some, it seems an easy way to make a living. There are a plethora of courses and small workshops and attending one of these it seems is all one needs to set up in business. The truth is very different and those genuine ambassadors in the community will tell you that it takes years of development and discernment as well as sacrifice and that a great deal of responsibility is needed. Be aware of one's history and development. Even training in a workshop with a famous person in the scene does not make you a professional medium or psychic.

Protect Yourself, But Remember There Are Good Ones Out There

Even though the story about the Somerset psychic is not an isolated case, there are genuine psychics and mediums out there that have the best intentions. Unfortunately, stories such as the one above can make it difficult for genuine psychics to make a living and get the respect from the community they deserve. Therefore, the message is to protect yourself but to remember that there are genuine people with real gifts out there that could contribute to your life. However, they are few and far between.
