The Darker side of the paranormal

The Interest in séances, Ouija boards and spirit communication has risen thanks to TV shows such as Most Haunted and our haunted lives. These shows have also given birth to ignorance and the problems that have arisen from these foolhardy attempts to dabble in the paranormal. Consequently, they have destroyed lives. Walk into any spiritualist church and they will tell you that there is no entity such as Satan and demons do not exist; it is merely a wandering or grounded spirit looking for help. The truth is different and ignorance does not afford you safety. Demons do exist and the darker side of the paranormal is very dangerous. A simple quasi attempt to communicate with a discarnate entity or dabble in aspects of the occult without the proper protection will undoubtedly open a pandora’s box of problems.

More often than not you will certainly not recognize the signs and symptoms of a possession or of a darker force until it is too late. By then, the gateway is open and your simple attempts to cleanse and clear could be little more effective than trying to blow out a trick candle – THE FLAME ALWAYS RETURNS.

The problem that we face is that by our very nature we are an inquisitive species and we will study what we do not understand – thus attempting to gain some kind of reason for knowledge. Often we will try to control the outcome of something in any way possible – even to the detriment of ourselves – believing that we have achieved the Unachievable. Let’s look at a few of these.

Ouija Boards

This is perhaps the simplest and most misunderstood method of spirit communication. According to some sources (Chinese occultists), the first historical mention of something resembling a Ouija board is found in china around 1200 B.C., a divination method known as fuji "planchette writing". Other sources claim that according to a French historical account of the philosopher Pythagoras, in 540 B.C. his sect would conduct séances at "a mystic table.”

The first use of the Ouija board came with the spiritualist movement in the mid-19th century. Divination at that time was used to gain messages in many ways such as using a planchette that would be controlled by the spirit and used to spell out messages to the sitting individuals. During the late 1800s, planchettes were widely sold as a novelty or a parlour game that was patented by the businessman Elijah Bond and Charles Kennard. These boards are still sold today in there millions.

The spiritual aspect

It is widely known and accepted that the board is used for occult practices but it must be understood that the board is not the problem; it is merely a tool with which the user can focus his or her intent. The intention behind the use of the board is the problem. The user will normally sit with the intention of contacting discarnate entities. Now this is all very well but what if you do not understand how to discern. This is one of the first spiritual gifts that you should develop. It is not enough to be able to utilize your psychic faculties without understanding the internal power of discernment. It is said that a demon can come in the form of light – how can the trusting individual tell the difference. Using an Ouija board is like setting light to an explosive charge. You create what your thoughts dictate and if you have the pure intent that you wish to contact spirit – you will. The trouble is which ones.

I was once contacted by a mother in the north of England who had stupidly decided to use a Ouija board with her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend. Nothing much actually happened or so it seemed and over a short period of time – paranormal events started to occur in their home. The troubling aspect was that the target of the events was the young daughter. It was she who experienced the episodes including voices, seeing spirits, having nightmares and a general upset throughout her life. Slowly and surely, the mood in the home changed and life seemed out of control. Electricity would blow and objects would disappear. Eventually the mother admitted that one evening they decided to play spirit games and used a makeshift board – a simple piece of paper and glass as a planchette. They had seen this time and time again on TV and thought nothing of it. The mothers desire to become psychic was so strong that she used her own family to get there. Blinded by her own desires she created a portal in the home which invited spirits to communicate – any spirits, and that is when things went disastrously wrong. Before she came to me, she had requested the help of other mediums, and the mediums who came in actual fact could not deal with the problem due to their misunderstanding of the Darker aspects of the Paranormal.

Using the Board

As I have mentioned the board works by intention only and is not the harbinger of some mysterious power. Through this intention, you create a portal with which unseen entities can communicate or visit. These entities will more often than not be grounded spirits or darker entities with malice on their mind. Why someone feels that they can contact a loved one who has crossed over to the spiritual plain (heaven) I don’t know. But suffice to say that if I was in Heaven – I would not want to return to this dark energy we call earth. The only spirits that can be contacted through the utilization of the board are spirits who have not crossed and often these are lower vibratory entities.

A demonic entity may attach itself to a grounded spirit and thus get a piggy back ride – right to your playground. Think about this, do you really want that happening?

Investigating spirit activity

Using Ouija boards is not the only way that problems can occur. In this day and age we can see more and more ‘Ghost Hunters’ turning up and anyone with an interest in the paranormal can start researching ghosts or spirits. The problem we have here is that it needs some form of interaction between the investigator and the spirit entity. We are seeing time and time again, investigators calling on spirits or even challenging them which is like playing Russian roulette with a loaded gun. Professional researchers will always use a professionally trained medium as they know that they need someone who can control and discern spirits. Other non-professional investigators rely on themselves and do not have the luxury of using professional mediums. This is candy to the entity and the games can begin.

One thing you must realize is that we are all energy in motion and are spirits in human form not the other way around. Therefore, it makes sense that these spirits already have a handle on manipulation of energy and know exactly your thoughts and your fears. Never challenge the spirit - for you can’t fight what you can’t see or feel.

Séance’s

A Séance is a group of people – headed by a professional medium and a scribe (who takes notes) – that meets with the soul intention of speaking with the dead. In the correct circumstances and with the right professionally trained people, this can be an effective way of experiencing trance communication. However, in most instances the séance carried out by most people is done through sheer inquisitiveness by untrained and unstable individuals. This is another method of ‘Calling on spirits’ and can be more bother than it is worth. By calling on a spirit you are sending out an invitation for any spirit to contact you and even if you think it is good and from the light – you can be a victim of deception and deception that could cost your life. I said before that a demon can come in the form as a being of light and if you do not have the power of discernment mastered – you are inviting all sorts of problems.

Demoniac activity

I mentioned previously that you could be inviting demons and allow me to build on this. A demon can show itself in the form of light – yet it cannot by definition stand anything from the light and if questioned will show its weakness. However, infestation can start slowly and develop into a full blown possession without anyone knowing. There are 5 stages to Demonic possession;

1. Invitation

2. Infestation

3. Oppression

4. Obsession

5. Possession

Even in our modern times, satanic cults are springing up everywhere and even the Vatican has been subjugated by satanic influences. So secret are these cults that they could be going on in your next door neighbours house without your knowledge. With that in mind – you have a war that is going on right now in the unseen planes of the spirit realm and this war is for the souls of mankind. Is it so difficult to believe that with all the negativity – that satan and his legion of demons are just waiting for the right invitation and dabbling in the occult for fun and without the proper training or experience is opening a portal straight to Hell!!!

Indentifying the activity

There are obviously signs and symptoms of diabolical activity and some of these will be more easily noticeable than others. For instance you may start to smell putrid odours such as rotting flesh and will have no cause for the stench. You may also note that religious icons that you may have are often removed, damaged or defiled. The person who may be infested will show a dislike to religious artifacts and may react badly in their presence. There will be an increase in argumentative episodes or even violence. Often in cases that present evidence of demonic influence, there will often be heard noises of animals scratching or clawing and even growls not of this world. The signs and symptoms of possession can be so subtle or right in your face. If you experience any of these – consult a professional immediately.

Clearances

You can take part in as many clearance rituals as often as you like, but the truth is, if you are infested with diabolical spirits, it will take more than a simple cleansing to be rid of the influences that surround your family, your property and your own life. A clearance using ancient remedies such as sage and cedar will only work in certain occasions such as a grounded or trapped entity that is looking for help rather than being the cause of mischief. If you attempt to use a clearance on a darker entity – you will only anger this spirit and you will cause far more devastation and destruction than you realize. The truth is that Prayer is your best weapon until you can reach out to a suitably qualified individual. I am one of those individuals but have found myself out of my depth at times and always have to revert to the Catholic Church or a suitable religious leader. There is no honour in trying to be a hero sometimes it is better to change tactic than admit defeat.

Finish on a high note

Now all this may sound quite scary and in reality it is, but one thing that you should take from this article is that the realm of spirit and psychic ability is not an easy task to take on. Like all things in life there is the great balance of positive and negative and if you do not understand the balance of its nature – you will surely fall into a dark abyss that can be difficult to get out of. Keep a true heart and study under a reputable source.

Vibrations

Safety By Intuition

We have all been there – the pub when a violent outbreak bursts, the football, the street and even in the home. We ask the same question, “How did I get myself into that, how could I have avoided the situation?” We have the ability to escape these violent or dangerous encounters by using our natural intuition. Positivity and negativity are vibrations that are different in composition. Perhaps you have shaken hands with someone and felt an overwhelming urge to get out of their company – negative vibration. In contrast, the same action can give you a feeling of inner happiness and safety, hence – a positive vibration. Whether you believe it or not, you are using natural psychic gifts, and you are being warned of impending danger if you have a negative feeling. Your hair may stand on end - you may feel a gut wrenching in the pit of your stomach. Everyone feels these vibrations differently, but together we are going to begin a journey of self-discovery – of learning how to become your own bodyguard and recognize the subtle signs from the universe. You have the ability to make the world a safer place and to enjoy the beauty that surrounds you without the need to fear. How would it feel to go anywhere you choose knowing that you will remain safe in a hostile world? We all have this ability and should use it more readily from the streets to the battlefield. Psychic Relations

Relationships can be a warzone or a tranquil garden. Do you realise that you create the relationships that you desire and when you run into problems within a relationship? it can be a reflection of lack within your own being. It could also be the lack of vibrational match for each other. The same element is constant – lack. This is what results in problems within a relationship and it does not need to be within a loving relationship of a partner or family unit. You can feel the effects of lack in work relationships or with friendly relationships. The truth is that you have the power to attract what you desire in your relationships. Ever heard the saying “Like attracts Like?” It’s true and you attract what your vibrational desire is.

For instance, there are individuals that look for love, who want to find that mate for life and yet this goal can seem like a distant memory. One thing that you should learn is that you have to ask, again another saying springs to mind “ask and it will be given” suggesting that if you don’t ask you don’t get. So if you want a soul mate – ask the universe. There is an easy way to ask and be sure that you are specific – you don’t want a mixed bag, do you? Take a note book and write a letter to your guardian angel or yourself. Be honest, say exactly how you feel, if you are lonely then say it. Next think of all the qualities that you would want in a partner and write them in your letter. If you want your partner to love the theatre – say so. Last but not least, thank the universe for bringing the partner of your dreams to you and hold the vision in your mind. Now sign off your letter and forget about it. Let the universe do the work for you.

There is nothing worse than loneliness, yet we have the ability to change this should we wish to. All you have to do is ask and out your order into the universe. Patience is another important aspect of all this; don’t expect things to happen immediately.

The Nut Behind the But

Years of lobbying and stories of mass destruction, crime and never ending violence are propelling more and more Individuals to lobby for the destruction of all weapons – most being of course hand guns.

Throughout my many years in the military working with law enforcement and other institutions throughout the world – one thing is constant – it’s not the weapon that is dangerous but the stability of the mind behind it.

A weapon, no matter what it is or how it is made; is an inanimate object capable of inflicting harm, injury or at an extreme – death, is merely the tool and nothing can detract from this fact. The only way that a weapon such as a firearm can become dangerous is the machine operating it. That my friend’s is the “Nut behind the but.” In most cases the individual that uses the weapon has already by default of mass consciousness and mindset – decided its use. The same is said for the individual who uses the weapon for violence and destruction. We live in a culture where guns are the every-day norm – a part of our lives and whether we like it or not are part of our safety in some ways.

Conversely, we may consider our intuitive part of our nature to be the weapon, but a weapon that when used correctly that can keep us safe from harm. Perhaps it is time to recognize that our intuition can be likened to our very own hand gun. We can’t get rid of our intuition and contrary to popular belief, we all have it. Is it right therefore that we should rid ourselves of hand guns when it is not the instrument that carries out the crime?

How can a Law enforcement officer use this intuition when using a hand gun or a soldier for that matter? Consider this; Imagine that law enforcement officer on his or her normal duties has to investigate a building or area. Before they enter the building – they are confronted with a clairvoyant image in the mind’s eye of a perpetrator that is armed. Seeing this intuitive flash, they draw the side arm and on entering, are confronted with a masked man brandishing a live weapon with malice on his mind. The officer has by default utilized this skill all be it very conservatively and stayed alive. Imagine if the officer had ignored that feeling and walked into the building not knowing what to expect. There may be a high chance that he or she would have been shot in the line of duty. Now I know that many of you will be screaming that what I have just described is normal standard operating procedure for law enforcement. All I am attempting to do is give a very basic example of how this may be used. It can be as easy or as complicated as you like. It can be just a feeling that someone is lying or being able to tune into a perpetrator’s vibration – gaining a level of intelligence.

Let’s go back to the perpetrator. He already had malice on his mind and would have been consumed by negative feelings and energy around him. Those signals would be emanating from his aura. An individual that is sensitive enough to these subtle signals would be able to pick up on these feelings using natural intuitive ability and will have the opportunity to make the right or wrong decision. That is similar to the choice of using the weapon for good or not. In short “ The nut behind the But.”

Personally, I am not one of those lobbying type folk and as a former protection officer and soldier. I do see a necessity for weaponry and I can also see the validity in the fear created by the former. However, I also believe that our intuitive nature can be just as effective. Therefore the balance may be achieved in accepting both.

The fight against TERRORISM is now in other dimensions

We are a humanity in crisis; everywhere we turn are signs of terror whether it’s from murders that happen on our front door or attempts at attacking the heart of our nation by Muslim extremists – terror is here. Our government is forever inventing new methods to fight terrorism and weapons of terror are being used against the groups that sport them.

In the search for peace and safety, we revolutionise new weapons of mass destruction to counter the threats to our nation – to uphold a balance or “quid pro quo”. Covert operations run daily and intelligence is buzzing like a hive of honey bees. Perhaps we have overlooked what is right under our nose claims the author of “Powers of the sixth sense – how to remain safe in a hostile world.” The author claims that we have the ability within ourselves to reduce those risks by using our natural intuitive instincts - a weapon without a weapon with a cause. It follows that this statement has credence. We have evidence of scientific studies that prove the existence of a sixth sense or of extra sensory perception. The US military and other international agencies have researched the use of ‘Psychic Spying’ or ‘Remote Viewing’ as a weapon against terror. The idea that we can predict disasters, possible attacks and breaches of our security may sound like a far-off idea for a Hollywood movie, but the reality is different. One such operation was that of project STARGATE - the American Military studies into the use of ESP and other paranormal abilities to protect our country and to gain intelligence on our potential enemies.

There is now enough evidence to prove that these abilities exist and can be used for our benefit and that of humanity in general. Perhaps bringing the idea that intuition can play a part in our everyday lives is the first step in bringing the fight against terrorism to us personally. Even since 9/11, examples, whereby lives have been spared because of direct intuitive warnings or synchronistic events have played out. One such instance would be as follows; an executive wakes up in the morning and nothing is going right. He has slept through the alarm that normally wakes him at 6am. Frantically, he tries to get to grips with his normal routine and speeds himself along creating more havoc than he planned. His keys, normally in the same place every day have disappeared and he can’t find his briefcase. Sitting down in his dining room with his familiar paper and a coffee – he reads headlines that make him aware of the trouble around. One headline “STOP, LOOK AND WATCH” a warning for kids that play in the street. In the background his radio is playing a song such as “Stop in the name of love” by Diana Ross. He hears the word stop in his mind all morning and images of explosions play in his mind like a movie. It’s all too much and the subtle signs around him cause him to make a decision to stay home. At 08:45 am a passenger jet crashes into the first tower in New York on September 11^th 2001. Our executive has saved his own life - he worked for a bank in the tower.

Subtle signs and feelings were built up around the gentleman all morning and being aware spared his life. There are examples of this throughout the United States and some examples are not based on just Terrorism. From this one example – we are able to see how your intuition may play a major role in your life – even on day-to-day terms. Our children are all in touch with their feelings and intuitive side from a young age. It is only society and our dogmas that cause the child to forget the natural intuitive nature. Intuition is not a far-out idea reserved for the so-called righteous or gifted. The fact remains that intuition is innate in every one of us from birth to death and it is our own free will if we use it.

Law Enforcement and Psychics

There have been many instances whereby agents of intelligence agencies and officers of local law enforcement have called on the services of individuals with special gifts. The use of psychic investigators is a secret that most agencies will never admit to, yet thanks to the thirst of the media and the odd intuitives’ search for fame - it has become a more widely acceptable field. It has now come to light that Intelligence organisations such as MI5, CIA, The FBI and other law enforcement partners are using psychics more and more. This allows them to open new avenues of intelligence, that previously would have gone down the wrong road.

As many would testify the use of spooks is down to the individual and whether they believe in the phenomana is neither here nor there. Many a skeptic has been dumfounded by the information that is transferred by the psychic investigator

So how does a psychic do it

You must realize, that contrary to popular belief, the psychic is not there to solve cases. It remains a subject of opinion there are psychics out there that doccument the cases to create their own fame. Besides the media utilize this as another method of selling entertainment – recognizing the thirst for knowledge and examples of the paranormal. The psychic medium is only there to offer intelligence that could not be gathered by normal means. The psychic is able to tune into the subtle vibrations that surround objects, and people. This will promote clairvoyant or psychic images that may jolt the investigators understanding and offer another avenue to follow. Often when a case becomes a homicide investigation – it is not unusual for the deceased spirit to communicate with the medium to help the investigation.

Spirit Help

Many individuals believe the spirit that was brutally murdered hangs around on the earth plane until the murder has been solved. This is so far from the truth; we do have discarnate entities that do not transend into the light and remain grounded. Normally though usually the spirit will be taken to the light by loved ones, angels or indeed their own guides. In the case where there are important lesons to be gained, the spirit will return because of the will of God to aid in gaining a satisfactory conclusion to the case, thus serve justice. It therefore remains obvious that no matter the reason, the case has been solved with the aid of spiritual intercesion and remains an important lesson to many – as well as opening ones spiritual beliefs to a higher order of Governance. We are merely channels whereby God can allow his suitable lesons and Judgment. In short; Our creator has and always will be a weapon in the arsenal of law enforcement to ensure justice in his name, who are we to disbelieve.

The Anatomy of thought

The interaction of both the sub conscious mind and conscious mind requires similar interaction through the nervous pathway of the body. For instance, the cerebrospinal chord is the channel through which we receive conscious perception such as the movement of limbs. This is control of the physical senses to bring about the action of a particular movement. This particular system has its nucleus in the brain. The sympathetic nervous system has its centre in a network of nerve cells at the back of the stomach knows as the Solar Plexus, In spiritual terms this is also known as the solar plexus chakra ( a Sanskrit word meaning spinning wheel)- which is the seat of intuition and psychic ability. This system channels the unconscious mental activity and also supports the vital functions of the autonomic nervous system. These two systems are connected through the vagus nerve which passes out of the cerebral region of the brain and through the throat. It then branches out to the heart and lungs and joins with the sympathetic nervous system making the physical body a “single entity” identified as mind and body.

Each pass through the nervous system also coordinates with each chakra of which there are 7 basic. Starting at the head or cerebral area indentified as the crown chakra – then continues to the 3^rd eye chakra which is located at the forehead and is in sympathy with the pituitary gland. The next area is the throat chakra which is the area at the throat and remains the seat of clairaudience. If we continue down we reach the heart chakra and the solar plexus chakra and each of these chakras work in tandem with the sympathetic nervous system. The chakras then continue to what could be described as the physical attribute of the spiritual body and encompasses a further two chakras – mainly the sacral plexus chakra based just below the naval and to the back and the root chakra situated just below the groin area. These chakras are in tune with the physical elements of the body and so all work as mind, body and spirit.

So it is true that subconscious thought can effect changes in the physical body. Perhaps then, this would be the basis to effect spontaneous healings within an individual or the method by which we are able to change our outlook and circumstances in life. Understanding the physical path of thought and perception can help us correlate the spiritual with the physical.

Create Your Reality

If there is one thing that we probably hate in life – it is to fail – to experience failure in everything you do. I never wanted to fail at anything and always made sure that I was the best I could be at everything – even if it meant stepping on toes at times. We create fear of failure over very slow periods of time and sure enough as the impetus grows - failure follows but not as much that you would notice – it lurks in a dark recess. I would like to relay my own story as an example that exemplifies the very situation. I lost a marriage and a security business that I had built into a substantial size with offices in the US and in the UK. Eventually I managed to get back on my feet again and as I was taught in the military – you get up and get on with it and worry about the consequences later. I got involved in some military type operations abroad and made some money and on my return begun to build a new life for myself. I decided to give the former part of my life up and embarked on a new career. Whilst studying to become a personal trainer and nutrition advisor, another opportunity landed at my door to buy a gym in the centre of Glasgow at the snip of a price. Using the money I had brought back from my work abroad – I bought the gym and qualified as a personal trainer.

I had changed my life as far as I was concerned - a new beginning and a new business yet still I feared failure. I had a great deal of media attention because of my background and my achievements and even did some TV work for the BBC. Everything was going really well; my name was getting around and business seemed too good but in the recesses of my conscious mind – the fear was beginning to grow once more. Everything was going too well – surely the bubble had to burst soon. As I suspected, the bubble did burst, well more exploded, but it was me that was the trigger mechanism. My fear once more created my reality and just as my expectation of failure – it came and I lost my business once more – I had once again created my own reality. I left the town of Glasgow behind and had to go on the run due to the bad press that was following, and the lies that had been concocted sent a hunter force after me. The hunter now became the hunted and the negativity that consumed my being brought with it, total destruction. It was not long before I found myself with nowhere to go – no food and no roof over my head. I lost everything around me. I knew a friend of mine from the SAS that was living in the north of Scotland and he offered me his garage as a place to stay for a while to keep my head down. I had nothing but an army roll mat – no money, no food, no friends and no one to talk to or to love. I slept in a Garage with nothing but my thoughts of why everything had gone wrong. I ate tins of beans to sustain myself and the odd piece of white bread if I could get it. In this situation many individuals would then turn to the only solace they can find and inevitably suicide would follow. When you have reached the very depths of your soul, it is difficult to see the beauty of life, to experience what is unseen and to welcome the spiritual growth that you are going through. You question your own reality and in turn either kill yourself or go mad in the process. If you do not realize that you have inner strength and can call on the guidance of a higher power – how do you navigate through this maze of disparity? You find yourself in a circle of negativity – of one that is continuous and seems to have no beginning and no end. The reality is of course that you can step from this circle and create a new circle – one of only good and abundance – the true natural reality that has always existed within you.

It was not long before my survival instincts had taken over and in the snap of one decision – I decided that enough was enough. I had always believed in God and in the power of the spirit – of angels and Guardians – now would be my time to prove the theory of the ages. I sat quietly on the edge of my roll mat contemplating on life and if I could get any of mine back. Could I ever be happy again? Taking a black hard backed note book from my bag I wrote a letter to my guardian angel asking for help and writing ten things that I wanted in my life. Here are those ten things;

1. I want to find someone who will love me for who I am and understand me without question.

2. I want to find happiness in everything I do.

3. I want the hurt to leave and to deal with my past.

4. I want to develop spiritually and use the gifts that I have for the benefit of mankind.

5. I want to have enough money to eat and find a home.

6. I want to find work that I will be happy doing.

7. I want to find my true purpose in life.

8. I want to find a woman that loves the same things I do and have a passion for fitness.

9. I want to re-write my autobiography.

10. I want to settle down and have no more pain.

The energy around me changed and I felt a presence such I had never felt before. I felt arms around me and the love that only a creator could bring – the hands that moulded the clay of the pot and created who we are. Like a new born baby taking its first steps, I felt alive and that I could muster the strength to deal with any eventuality – that somehow I knew everything would be alright. In the coming months, things changed for the better and slowly my life began to create its new circle. I was co-creating my own destiny from my intentions and my heartfelt desires.

Very often we fail to create our reality due to the fear that consumes us or the circumstance that surrounds us. We even fear the fear of taking a risk and trying to change and we become comfortable in our own negative vibration – believing that this is as good as its 'gonna' get. The truth is that we created our own fears, we alone were the creators of our own failures and it is only ourselves that through our desire and love can we begin to create our own circle of prosperity, happiness and love. How did I do? Well after I made the decision, I found the woman of my dreams and could tick all the boxes that I required. I created my own happiness and published my work on my true purpose in life. My passion is my spiritual work and as for the healing – the woman of my dreams did that for me. I created my own circle and you can create yours, all it takes is that one snap decision and perhaps a letter to your guardian angel. I still have that note book and the original list and I want you to know that no matter what you are going through – no matter how hard life becomes – you can create your own reality and all you need is the true desire and belief in yourself.

It is a simple law of attraction; we attract what we do want and in contrast – we attract what we don’t want. If our vibratory rate matches that of our desires or our negativity – we attract it whether we want it or not. The trick is to keep one step ahead of our intentions, desires and conscious thoughts. A person who is suffering a never ending cycle of abuse will continue to experience the abuse if they do not change their vibration to that of a higher one. Even by maintaining that they do not want to suffer any more – they give attention to the very existence of that negativity. Very few times does someone actually make the decision to stop and change the vibration that they are on. Unwittingly they continue to give power to that which they do not want and as by the law of attraction manifest it into their awareness. Positivity follows positivity and positivity can follow from negativity only if the intention switch is turned on. You must change your thoughts to change your life for if you do not – you will continue to attract the same. Allow me to explain. A family in a small area of Aberdeen was experiencing tremendous problems in terms of relationships, finances and sibling rivalries that divided the family. The mother who was always complaining about the hand that God had dealt her did not recognize that her thoughts, beliefs and fears were creating her own reality and that by constantly giving attention to the problems she was facing – nothing changed. She remained In a loveless marriage and was forever experiencing other problems in life with her family, finances and her own belief in herself. Over a slow period of time I got her to realize that she was the problem and told her to experiment with my theory – she did. She soon saw the changes that were happening in her life and even though they were small – they were still positive steps in the right direction. She kept a diary of her thoughts and began to write affirmations to change her habitual thought patterns. In a dramatic attempt to change, she left her loveless marriage and set up a new home for herself and he family and slowly her life began to make sense again. I managed to get her into meditation and she began to have a glow about her again, though every now and gain – she would lapse a little and try to go back to her old ways. As far as I was concerned this lapse was just a form of attention seeking – using the attention to fill the void of love. I no longer see the family but I am sure that those steps have become giant leaps and if she has fallen by the wayside it would be her own undoing. All it takes is a decision not to continue with the reality that you are in to recognize the fear and to eradicate the fear with love. In this way – you become a creator of your own positive reality. When conscious fearful thoughts enter your mind, become AWARE;

Feel the fear and do it

What stops you achieving your dreams in your life? Why do you feel that you are trapped in a circle of negativity? Why do you never lose the few pounds that you need to, or turn around your finances? Why does it always happen to you? The answer is simple; fear is your nemesis; it changes your very thought pattern to resonate with its own negativity. It consumes your positive energy and tells you that you can’t do that – you can’t achieve that dream or that you will never amount to anything. In contrast your fears can manifest as those around you. It could be a relative or even a parent that is the catalyst for your fears. What happens if a father tells his sibling that he or she is useless and will never amount to anything. How does the target of his negativity feel?

Fear is not always bad; when a crisis approaches, it shows itself in the surge of adrenalin. Fight or flight? In dangerous situations, we experience a process called ‘the adrenalin dump’, which makes us fight or run, depending on the individual. As such, fear is a valuable tool. If an animal is attacked, it instinctively knows what to do – its survival depends on it. As human beings, we lose this ability all too easily. We become too comfortable or complacent and often don’t see what is right in front of us. When we allow the fear to consume us – we no longer remain the directors of our own lives, we fail to see the power that we have within and that we can achieve and do anything we want in this life.

Fear communicates itself to those around you. It shows in your posture, how you walk and hold yourself, how you approach the world. When you are faced with something you fear, your body responds internally with a faster heart rate and increased breathing rate, and externally with physical signs such as tremors in your hands. We manifest our thoughts so that the fear is shown in body language and sooner or later the fear changes our desires and dreams into fragments of a once too active imagination.

Overcoming fear under certain conditions when our minds are pushed into overdrive can be quite debilitating. The energy we exude from our consciousness draws the negative experience like a moth to a flame and attracts individuals, negative entities or organizations that want to harm us. It also creates the negative experiences that we manifest through our own belief and so the circle of negativity continues.

This outcome is a consequence of the spiritual law of attraction. The spiritual law of attraction is a universal law, what you emit you attract. Like attracts like; if your vibratory field emits a negative frequency, then you will attract others of the same frequency. If you give out a positive frequency, you will attract those of a positive disposition. Learning to control your thoughts and feelings enables you to develop a secure method of achieving success in all that you do – it is invisible to the human eye but it acts like an impenetrable wall.

So many individuals fail to manifest their desires and the only thing that stands in their way is they themselves. It is not enough to believe that a psychic or spiritual guru can help you to soul search to learn the art of co-creation in order to change your life. The universe is within you and you are the only one that can change the motion that is life – you are the artist with your own canvas and all it takes is the decision and intention to begin painting your own picture.

Intention is creation and to have the desire to change is not enough; we must have the intention to follow the desire and only then can we merge and replicate that same vibration that begins to attract our desires. Perhaps after you have created the desire and the intention – solidify the intention by writing down not only your intent but the affirmations to go with the desire and intention and so the path would look similar to this;

DESIRE -> INTENT -> AFFIRM -> MATCH -> MANIFEST (mnemonic DIAMM)

How do we affirm our intention? That is the easy part and can be very enjoyable. First you must have yourself an affirmation notebook and by writing some affirmations you are in effect commanding your subconscious mind to replicate your desire and intention in the form of a vibratory match by raising that vibration. You are retraining your mind to a positive polarity and to diffuse or transmute the negativity. The following affirmation is short and to the point, it does not need to be confusing and full of manure.

“I am a divine being of light, the universe provides all that I need and desire”

“I am a perfect co-creator of the universal energy that surrounds me and attract abundance, wealth and health”

The affirmation can take on any form of intention; perhaps you wish to lose a few more pounds – you could say;

“I am a wonderful being of light and every day I see myself as a fit, healthy, slim individual. My life patterns are changing to match my desires and higher vibration and I shed what I no longer desire in my body.”

These affirmations are short and to the point and you can make them your own for any purpose. By following the basic rules of accepting your fears and transmuting your negativity – you will change your learned behaviour and will attract all that you desire in your life. You have the ability to change your point of attraction to attract more abundance should you so desire. The ability to understand your fears is simple, accept them and take the first step into doing it any way – this will take you on a journey of magical proportions - a journey in which you are the co-creator.

Non Judgemental Duality

Let’s face facts; we live in a world of duality where judgement is the norm of the everyday man or woman. Our understanding comes from one which complements the other. We would never understand rich if we did not experience poor, we see beauty only because we judge ugly and truth is in contrast to a lie. It is the yin and yang with all things but without the natural balance, for the duality is as one and at oneness with the universal consciousness. In understanding good we recognize the evil and see that as opposites they are in fact a duality. In looking at an individual we make assumptions and label in a world driven by judgements – one man may have intelligence but stupidity exists only because we make a judgement on intellect and so you understand that our world is full of duality and labels.

Our natural world

The natural world around us knows no duality and instead remains as one with the universal law. A tiger does not judge another tiger because it is uglier nor has less stripes and the fish of the sea does not judge because another fish is more colourful. Instead they both carry on in their own way with lack of judgement and just exist within the oneness of the universe – they just exist in the natural order of things without judgement. So the circle of life continues on its cycle unimpeded and without judgement – animals move and grow in harmony and a seed may turn into a beautiful flower not judged by another flower for its colour, smell and strength. This is like the river that continues to flow with the natural force of Mother Nature or the sea that ebs and flows constantly in and out of the beach. It is natural and has its place.

Judgement

We judge because we do not understand that the universe is and exists and we exist but in a world of duality; we know life and death only because we experience one which inevitably gives rise to the other. But in judging one we give form to negative energy and the energy that now has form causes the natural oneness to be inhibited. Our thoughts that create our judgements are not in line with the natural order of the universe and so it follows that our thoughts create the life around us even if that life is not what we desire. Living with judgement and duality is the epitome of our materialistic world in which we live – it is a paradoxical reality but a reality that is in fact borne of illusion.

Learn to live with oneness to be in a world of duality, but as one; learn to live without judgement and just be. This will allow you to move seamlessly with the flow of our natural world. You will become both teacher and sage and live simultaneously in harmony with all things. Instead of trying to achieve – you just do it and without the energy of effort, therefore you are a paradox. The body has materialistic boundaries but within it we have a soul and spirit which are limitless – we are spirit in human form therefore we are oneness in an apparent duality – another paradox.

A unified spirit

Enter into life in the here and now without feeling the propensity of having to label or judge anything. Nothing is right and nothing is wrong, beautiful and ugly are standards of a materialistic world – there is no need to compartmentalise the world around you. Learn to accept all as a necessary paradox and just exist moving as one with the tides. In this way all of the universe’s secrets become part of you and you live life in harmony and abundant reality – know your eternal self even within the limitations of a materialistic body.

Move effortlessly and understand that effort is afforded non effort, join these together and you have effortless action without worrying about the outcome. For example, a dancer does this by attempt, assuming the position, feeling the music and letting go – voilla, you have effortless action without outcome that moves seamlessly as the tide of life.

Eliminate the opposite and you have a paradoxical reality. When learning technique in the dojo. It seems natural to concentrate on one part of the action to learn that particular movement. The essence of the movement lies in its duality as a paradox, for instance when the attack originates it is one part of the action to which we respond with a similar action. If we hold ourselves in unity with the action, you begin to understand that it is the other half of a complete whole. By seeing this as our own reality and eliminating the opposite – we move seamlessly and begin to understand the flow of movement. We then move effortlessly from one element to another – the true heart accepts all elements and lives in oneness with duality.

Voices

Dr Ruth Wilson a junior doctor hears voices – a male voice that slowly begins to oppress her, trying to control her will and suggesting that she commits acts that are otherwise against her own nature. Doctors are convinced that this is a psychological issue but is there another hypothesis? Deanna Laney has murdered her children because the voices told her to do it and Andrea Yates killed her children by drowning them in a bathtub.

Can demonic forces take over and control an individual, causing them to commit a wicked act of murder or other criminal act. Satan’s minions are on the prowl again and have managed to influence a woman named Deanna Laney. In the name of God; she has taken the lives of her two young sons by stoning them to death in an almost Biblical fashion. I believe the demonic laugh of success echoes her mind to this day – torturing her day and night. She now knows she was wrong but why did she do it? Claiming to hear voices in her mind and receiving signs from discarnate spirits from another realm. She acted on the will of God or so she believed.

Convicted homemaker Deanna Laney, a 39-year old Texas wife and mother pleaded legal insanity at a texas court. A jury’s closing statements inferred that, on the 11th May 2003, Deanna acted Insanely and could not possibly have known the difference between right and wrong. Aaron, the third son survived the ordeal, though will remain blinded for life - brain injured and no doubt traumatized.

Another woman; Andrea Yates - also found legally insane by a Texas jury. Yates drowned her 5 children in a bathtub in 20th June 2001 in another biblical right of sacrifice. Andrea believed that Satan had took over her soul and that he was aiming for her children’s souls next – this is why she killed them to spare the children from the evil wrath. She also argued that her children would go straight to heaven as they remained perfect in their innocence and her life was payment in full for the attrocious act. She believed that by fullfiling a biblical prophecy, she would defeat the evil that took over her; Further, she believed this act would save her family and she would be saved.

Dr Ruth Wilson a Junior doctor in a hospital in England hears the voice of a male that begins to oppress her and control her life. Telling her to kill herself and commit acts that are undeniably insane by a psychological examiner – her life and career lies in the balance.

As a profesional spiritual medium who works on cases such as these and appears as an expert on many media shows; my theory for these cases would be the belief that they all portray elements of possible spirit attachment or Demonic possession. I have personally carried out exorcisms and experienced paranormal phenomena that i can only describe as terrifying. My wife has also been face-to-face with evil entities that just laughed at her and swore at her. Do you think its possible then, that a case of insanity could infact be Demonic possession or a case for insanity or hearing voices could be spirit communication or attachment? I would like you to consider the events that led up to a homicide or other such crime. Mostly, the perpetrator of the crime will insist that they were acting on the instructions of an unseen entity – they heard the entity speak to them direct and order the crime. This of course never happens instantaneously as most individuals that are the house for the spirit, claim to have a continuing affiliation with these entities over a period of time, therefore it cannot be a one off act. At first the spirit or demon, and i make this deliberate separation - these are two different entities. One is a grounded spirit intent on having fun and causing mischief, the other is pure evil acting out the will of its dark vibration - Will come in a cloak of light claiming to sympathise with the chosen host (victim) and offer help and friendship as a bargening tool. Often the spirit will claim to be an angel or spirit from heaven or the light and when the victim drops their guard a full possession can take place over time. Most possessions also have a trend whereby the host for possession lives a life that is conducive to harming the soul by the use a narcotics, severe alcohol consumption and the ability to carry out criminal acts.

In 1969 a young woman named Annelise Michel was diagnosed with severe epilepsy because of her nightly seizures, paralysis and innability to speak. Later while praying she began to see demonic entities and believed her condition was the result of demonic possession. She and her family were devout catholics and in 1973 requested the catholic church carry out the right of exorcism (Rituale Romanum) - it was denied. Finally after an exhaustive investigation by the catholic church, in 1975 Bishop Josef Stangl approved the exorcism – the exorcism was going to be conducted weekly in her home. During the exorcisms, She predicted the day when the demons had to leave her and on July 1st 1976 she died - just as previously predicted.

Father Arnold Renz and three others including the parents; were charged with negligent homicide, though during the trial there was evidence of possession through tapes that were recorded during each exorcism and the events that were seen by witnesses. Anneliese had said the demonic entities that possessed her were; Lucifer, Cain, a biblical character, Nero also known as Julius Caesar, Judas the betrayer of Jesus, Flieschman, a disgraced priest in Franken in the 17th century and Hitler. These demons had also spoken direct to the exorcist during the exorcism.

Many Christians believe that this possession had taken place as a lesson for humankind to realize there is more to life than we physically realize. This to me is certain proof that possessions happen – the mere fact there were independent witnesses at each exorcism challenges the explanation of even the most insistent skeptic. If then as I believe this is a true theory; it would seem possible that these possessions could be a vehicle for murder by the demon or entity influencing the mind of the chosen body. This theory would then account for the many cases of murder that happen because of so-called “voices.” If we examine the two cases above, we can assume that both perpetrators believed they became influenced by an unseen force a force that they believe was demonic and evil.

Possession or spirit attachment does not limit itself to human vehicles. A possession can happen in the home the chosen host may live. In the spring of 2005, my friend asked if I would visit a woman in an area of Aberdeen who was experiencing paranormal events in her life. She felt spirits toiling with her. She had experienced presences and was restless in her home – for the past seven years her life had spiraled out of control and gone from being happy and content to depressive. She began to hear voices and these voices were increasingly become aggressive. I was requested to investigate and offer her healing. On a Friday night in June, I went to her home with a colleague. It was not unusual to visit at this time of night – she was an insomniac and a lonely woman and was happy for the company. I was not ready for what I experienced and to this day will never forget the visions that I saw.

Possession can occur in any part of your life though normally there is always an individual that becomes the catalyst for the possession. The person can be a weak individual who is prone to depression, drug misuse, violence and other forms of negative behavior – a perfect home for a discarnate entity. As with the Spiritual law of Attraction (like attracts like; it draws the evil entity closer and the closer the entity gets, the easier it can feed and begin to influence the individual. Before too long a possession can take place. When the entity finally attaches itself to the chosen host, it creates untold havoc and can be the cause of severe depression – almost suicidal tendencies can unfold or murderous behavior. If the spirit is allowed to remain, it will undoubtedly destroy the hosts’ life, much to the demonic spirits enjoyment.

In a small town in Wales in 2002, a young man named Christopher was experiencing some violent and strange happenings. His bed violently shook in the middle of the night while he tried to sleep and he saw demonic entities staring at him from the end of his bed jeering and laughing uncontrollably. He experienced more and more episodes of violence both outside and inside the home and claimed to hear voices. Further; flashing lights appeared before the dark entities emerged. On one occasion, Chris spoke aloud in tongues in a language that was unknown to him – it terrified him to the core of his being and after this final episode - he and his family called for help. My wife Joanne (also an excellent medium) was contacted to examine these strange happenings; it was the first time she had ever faced a particular event such as this.

Once again, this is proof that possession in some form or another can happen and does not need to come out of the pen of a horror novelist. This is real; it can happen to anyone no matter the belief in the religion the person follows. The dangers of dabbling in the occult, is disastrous, especially if you do not know what you are doing. It is a dangerous and perilous journey to take and remains possible that you as a being could be inviting the demon into your world without noticing the events taking place or indeed the risks to your soul. Consideration of this cause can explain or indeed offer another theory for insanity or hearing voices.

Whilst hearing the voices over and again, the victim is consumed by the presence of the entity, it is not long before the being is guiding the soul to commit evil odious acts. During committing a murder, the murderer claims that he or she is not aware of what is going on. Only later when everything is finished do they realize that - standing with blood on their hands – they have committed a murder and taken someone’s life. Occasionally though, the individual is aware of what they are doing and knows that what they are doing is wrong – is that a case for possession or an answer to hearing voices. It most certainly is; the person concerned becomes controlled by the entity and yet he or she knows nothing of this. In short, he or she remains oblivious to an unnatural force that could attach and influence the mind beyond human understanding. It is therefore possible that Schizophrenia can be induced by spirit entities that manipulate the energy of the body to bring about a physical change in the brain or hormones within the human condition.

About the symptoms and plan of the crimes, could it be possible then that a probable excuse would be that, the human did not carry out the murder – it was the entity. That would make the murderer - not a murderer but an accessory to the crime. In a perfect world as with scientific movies; would it not be an ideal condition to capture the spirit and hold it accountable for the atrocious crime. Yet in the real world, it remains a fact that you cannot prove the existence of something that you cannot become aware of by physical sight. If we can’t see it, it is humanistic to not believe it – though we do believe in the presence of God or other holy deity. Why then can we not believe that evil exists and demons, personified in murders as well as physical acts of evil exist within the outer realms?

Insanity as far as I believe is tantamount to possession from an unnatural force manipulating the mind. Psychologists would have you believe that, there is a medical reason for everything - an imbalance here or there. Secretly though, the same professionals will also admit to the possibility of the existence of evil as a supernatural being. We are energy in motion; even though we manipulate other forms of energy to create an opinion, a cure or a system of understanding – it is nothing more than vibrating atoms moving at speeds we cannot grasp. Man did not believe that atoms existed until; it was successfully split in 1911 by a British scientist named Ernest Rutherford. If vibrating atoms vibrate at such a high-speed and we cannot see it, it does not mean that its not there. Thus, the same is a probable thesis for demonic possession or spirit attachment. This energy form exists and manipulates at will, the cases above in some form or another prove the existence of this force, seen or unseen. Be strong and realize that you have the power in yourself to destroy any negative energy and therefore create once more a harmonious balance in life – a mirror image of divine essence.

In the case of Dr Ruth Wilson and other individuals that hear voices – another hypothesis would be that the person is mediumistic and before any medical evaluations take place – seek out the opinion of a professional medium, paranormal investigator and Psychiatrist. If we all work together and keep our minds open to the fact that there are other explanations perhaps we can reduce the problems and risks associated with mental disorders and appropriate some form of healing whether physical or mental.
